Today I ordered for the first time ever and was shocked to pay 20.23 for a coke and salad. In all honesty, I have had better salads and customer service from lower end restaurants and at a much more reasonable cost. I am giving 2 🌟 to the young lady that helped me by preparing my order because she was very nice unlike the owner of this establishment. The chicken was dry and scarce, (maybe that was a good thing). I was going to let that one slip until I had to call and ended up speaking with the owner. I've worked customer service a great majority of my life so that comes with knowing that if I have a loyalty program for my customers, I must " ask " them if they would like to sign up and not just "assume " they do because they trusted me with their phone number. I received a message telling me that I have been awarded my 1st point for joining the loyalty program to which I had no idea I signed up for. I gave my phone number because a lot of restaurants these days ask you for it to contact you in regards to your orders, wait times, etc. I had no idea that it was going to be used to sign me up for something I didn't okay. My mistake was not asking why she wanted it her mistake was not informing me what it was going to be used for. I figured it would be an easy fix and no, I was wrong. The link sent to me read that if I wanted to cancel my loyalty program, I would have to contact the toss in San Carlos and so that is what I did. I asked if they could please delete me from the loyalty program and that is when the lady said that she would "try" but couldn't assure me that she could. I then said, well, I never was offered to sign up for it or informed that this is why you wanted my phone number to which she replied, rudely, I'm the owner, I, you gave your phone number, 'I'll see what I can do. I then told her, if you were able to sign me up without my consent then you should be able to remove me with my consent. I informed her that she was being quite rude for being the owner to which she said, no, you're being rude and we don't need or want customers like you and hung up on me. WOW! Really? Since when is requesting someone to undo something they did without your acceptance being rude? Trust me, this was the 1st and last time I WILL ever go to the toss because evidently there is a huge lack of welcoming customer service from ownership! Keep treating your paying customers like this and soon you will be closing due to lack of business. It's a shame that the workers are more friendly and kind! You say you don't want me as a customer, well! I'll be darned! I don't want to support a failing excuse for a human being! I will spend my 20.23 at a better location with much better service! I might even go to glide and pay them for a hot meal because I know they Excell where you fail! Best of luck and please! Don't respond because nothing you can say would be of...
Read moreGreat food. Best BBQ chicken sandwich ever and the most amazing salads. I'm kinda sad that for the Doordash order you can't modify your order. I'm allergic to onions and I can't add a note. I ordered lunch for my co workers and they wanted olives on both of their sandwiches. I waited for them to open and I called to see if I could have olives added to my co workers sandwich. They said they could add it this time but it would be an up charge.....really??? I just placed a $90 order and your going to charge me for a few olives????? You'rstuff is over priced as it is. Wow. Not impressed. I ordered a BBQ sandwich, 2 pesto chicken sandwiches and a samurai salad with shrimp and a coke.
UPDATE!!!! You said that it would be a upsale when you didn't offer it as an option on your site after I explained it to you that I couldn't add it on there. Also you should offer special instructions that way if people have allergies like onions, you can accommodate. I thought you'd be happy with a $90 order. My bad. I guess not. So sorry to help out a local business during tough times. I'll continue to order from another place....
Read moreShrinkflation meets price increase! Yikes! It's only matter of time that this place closes too. The portion was reduced by 20-25% and the salad I used to get for $12 plus tax is now $16.50 plus tax. Maybe to go bowl is different from dine-in? Check out pictures from 2+ years ago vs now, they are different. That's what made the difference, you got so much that it made sense to pay over $10 for a salad but but anymore. Can't go here anymore. Sorry. This salad is $7 at local grocery store. It's incredible how many businesses have suffered because they think they can just increase the price and offer less. Do they not know anything about doing the business?? Drake's has suffered same, The Office just closed amongst others in this zip code and it's only matter of...
