Melrose In the OC — Local services in San Clemente

If I could do more than five stars I would. So I am in the process of moving and all my cloths have been taken except my scrubs and a few leggings/tops. Nothing that I could wear on my last rendezvous with my girlfriends. I had just gotten off work and had no change of clothes for a night out and honestly I was freaking out. I walked Melrose a little overwhelmed (my normal attire is jeans and a t-shirt but I wanted to look a little more spruced up for this) I went to an employee ( I am horrible with names and forgot to ask for it) and basically said "I need an outfit, I normally wear jeans and a t-shirt and have NO fashion sense. So I am up for trying everything" and within seconds she had about four pairs of jeans that I tried on first to then match a top to it. She called another employee over from across the other store and they went to work finding a cute top and cardigan. Not only did they listen to what I wanted and made it happen, but these girls were fast and also made sure to ask how I felt in the outfit. I have never had an employee at any clothing store ask if I had felt confident and comfortable in my outfit. Not only did I feel confident in my outfit. I felt amazing in it. By the end of the 45 minuets I had been there I found 3 tops that I liked (but 2 were tank tops so they'll wait until summer) 1 pair of comfortable jeans, And 2 cardigans that go with almost anything. And a lesson on how style buttons on buttons (very useful actually). AND they let me leave in my outfit and even steamed the shirt for me so it would have no wrinkles.

Melrose, I don't know what you did to find such great, kind, and caring employees but you HAVE to keep these girls because as someone who HATES shopping and doesn't feel confident in ANYTHING. These girls made me feel like a million...

I love Melrose in the OC Lifestyle boutique. If you are a designer or just love ethically sourced, natural materials, and have a chic flair that is leaning to boho and rustic then this shop is for you. Rich texture and a neutral pallette are the showstopper combo. There are also products to wear and gifty items. I was drawn in by the home decor items personally. I will attach pictures. The woman working was fun, friendly, and knew her products. I loved how clean the boutique was and the layout is so easy to shop. From lighting to rugs and everything in between. Personally the pottery was reminiscent of Europe. I could see these accents in a beautiful mid century or Scandinavian style. This is a must see stop. Melrose in the OC Lifestyle is my go to gift shop for the most important people in my life! Mother’s Day, Birthdays, Baby Showers…and the occasional treat for myself! The shop is absolutely adorable and the staff is amazing! They are always willing to help with great gift ideas! This store was the perfect addition to the shops on Del Mar!
