I have been taking private Pilates sessions 4 to 5 days a week for the last few months with Daniella. She is an incredible teacher and extremely knowledgeable about Pilates, yoga and barre. I have a lower spine disc herniation and my sessions with Daniella have done so much for my pain. She has helped me to strengthen and lengthen the muscles in my core and the rest of my body which helps me hold myself in a way that doesn't worsen my injury. She is always very careful to check in about my back pain and not do any exercise that will injure it further while maintaining a challenging workout. In the past I have been to classes who either push me to workout in a way that was dangerous to my injury because of the lack of one on one communication or trainers who were so scared of me getting more injured that I wasn't seeing any results from my workout. Not so with Daniella. I also find that she consistently teaches new exercises that we have never done before which is crazy since I see her so often.
On top of that, Daniella is very fun to talk to which is important since I spend so much time with her. She has great taste in music and doesn't blast it loudly like most gyms and trainers do. The room and equipment are impeccably clean and everything looks new. I find her prices very reasonable for the services she provides. Working with Daniella has been way better than any Pilates class I’ve taken before. I love Pilates but had been scared of reformer after hurting myself in a group class a couple years back, so I was eager to try Avanti when I saw that it was 1-1 coaching. I highly highly recommend this approach to anyone who isn’t expert on the reformer vs. taking a large group class where the teacher can’t pay the kind of attention to each individual to ensure they’re doing the moves correctly and safely.
