So first time ordering we found on Uber eats was new to us seemed like had good stars so ordered. Unfortunately It’ll be the last time I never leave bad reviews unless I feel like I need to warn people of a place. What a rip off! Got Rolled tacos and a California burrito. The rolled tacos were the saddest thing we’ve ever seen. Five tiny rolled tacos that no meat inside, all you could taste was the corn tortilla which tasted stale and off. They were topped with green sauce no way that was guacamole! Shredded cabbage and a small sprinkle of cojita cheese. $10 on Uber eats wth so sad! Also got a California burrito, which is $15 with carne was dry, fries were greasy like they were saturated not fried in oil no guacamole, no pico and lil to no sour cream. This was so bad even though we were both hungry we threw it away cause it tasted so awful. Other interesting note we had to request in side notes for red and green salsas we were given ONE small red and TWO small green. Like lil 1oz salsas. Never been more disappointed from a California taco spot I’m local to SD, I’ve seen Wisconsin do better Mexican food...

But then this place. Angelina (“Lina”) runs this joint with a single focus: Succeed by providing the highest quality ingredients - then making art by perfectly cooking those ingredients.

I’d say it’s the Best Birrieria I’ve ever eaten, if superlatives weren’t so stupid, but certainly there is no Better Birrieria in all of San Diego. Fight me…or better, let’s have a Birrieria Throw Down. I pick Lina.

I ordered two sets of family packs for 4 to take to a family gathering. Truly, six people were able to eat from just one family pack (and part of a birria with ramen order)! And these are people who enjoy eating meat! We had so much good food left over for future meals. The staff was friendly and were quick too. We only waited 15 minutes for our large order.
The way the packed the rice container and bean container on top of the hot birria & broth container made them collapse the plastic lid (which was softened by the steam from the broth) so it got a bit messy. Luckily, they were all in well sealed plastic bags. But maybe they can pack it...
