I have insatiable taste for fine jewelry, especially vintage, and CJ Charles has an excellent, curated collection of pre-owned women’s gems and men’s watches in addition to new merchandise from a wide range of international luxury brands - along with some of their own designs. My brother and I happened to walk by their UTC shop (their main store is in LaJolla on Prospect St) and casually strolled in. We were greeted by Ali Moradi who showed us around. We were so taken by the quality of their inventory and Ali’s friendly, casual manner, that we both walked out with vintage watches. CJ Charles is a family business and it feels so intimate, so welcoming, from the moment you walk in. We have since met Vahid Moradi who travels the world searching for the most unique pieces - the best of the best. Vahid introduced us to some incredible pieces all with interesting stories behind them.

I am fortunate to call London home and I have access to many world class jewelers. Having met Ali in this part of the world is very comforting yet dangerous for my wallet. It is an excellent resource for fine jewelry whether it be old, new or custom.

I came across a few negative reviews in the section and wanted to share my experience with their team. CJ jewelers have certainly became family over the years since 2016 when I purchased my first IWC Portuguesier, which I took to shauffhausen museum in Switzerland. I have worked with them over the years with mainly wrist watches and is an amazing crew to work with :) Since Giorgio’s departure, I have been working with Amy, an amazing addition to their existing team.
