Came here on a Saturday at around 9pm. The line was pretty long and had to wait a while. The service was a little too slow but friendly enough. There is no sitting area, but I get the style. We tried the chocolate peanut butter brownie flavor with a cone. It has no brownie and too much salty peanut butter. We also had the 4 scoop sampler. The strawberry cheesecake flavor has much to be desired. I could barely taste any cheesecake flavor and the strawberry taste was not present at all. It was just sugar. The Graham Central Station was okay. It does taste like Graham crackers, but the artificial flavoring is unpleasant. The Buckeye flavor was the best one that we tried, in my opinion. It was still too sugary, but the flavor was good. The last flavor we got is the mint chocolate chip. We haven't tried it yet. Overall, I would not come back because of the quality of the ice cream. If I did come back for some other reason, I'd have the...
Read moreHandel’s is hands down the best ice cream shop I’ve ever been to! The flavors are unbelievably fresh, rich, and creamy—you can tell they put real care into every batch. They have so many unique choices that it’s almost impossible to pick just one, but no matter what you order, it’s always delicious. On top of the amazing ice cream, the employees made the experience even better. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help, even when the line was long. They took the time to explain different flavors, gave great recommendations, and served everything with a smile. You can tell they really enjoy what they do, and it makes the whole atmosphere so welcoming. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to treat yourself, Handel’s is it. Between the incredible ice cream and the outstanding customer service, this place deserves more...
Read moreThis place offers no samples with no explanation as to why. For me, sampling my ice cream is one of my favorite parts of the experience & it was extremely disappointing & honestly ruined my experience here that I could not try a flavor before committing to buying it for 6$ a scoop. I didn’t end up buying any because of this however my partner did and when I tried a bit of hers it was icy with little bits of ice in it & also served in a plastic tin rather than a compostable one. They also have no indoor area so it is not a good place to come at night unless you want to be extremely cold sitting outside in the dark while you eat your ice cream. Overall, extremely disappointing you would be MUCH better off going to Jeni’s Splendid ice cream or Salt & Straw downtown. Could not recommend this...
