Liquid Blue | Party Band — Local services in San Diego

What a show! This past May 29th, we had our daughters Graduation Party at the high end South Coast Winery Resort and Spa in Temecula California. We contracted Liquid Blue to be the Headliner. Before booking them, I did a fairly extensive search to find the best band out there that could deliver a Knockout performance. I was surprised at how many great bands are out there to choose from. I quickly was able to narrow it down from 100 bands to 20 bands and then 7 bands and finally 3 bands. After reading the reviews and calling many people, I decided to go with Liquid Blue. I have to admit, I was still skeptical because the words that people used to describe them were: AMAZING, AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, MIND BLOWING, OVER THE TOP, BEST EVER, ALL TIME FAVORITE, and OFF THE CHART!!! I thought, there is no way that a band can be THAT good and leave such a trail of AWE STRUCK fans time and time again wherever they play. Boy was I in for a treat with the addition of my own choice of words to add to the list above. We had ........."THE EVENT OF A LIFETIME". WOW.......WOW.....WOW.......is what I kept on hearing the minute they stepped on stage with their 11 piece band, including a horn section, and BLEW EVERYONE AWAY with their Earth Wind and Fire medley accompanied by a spectacular light show that brought ALL 400 guests to their feet. The huge LED lit dance floor was packed the entire night. There really aren't words that can truly describe the EXPERIENCE we all had that night as we witnessed the ULTIMATE CONCERT!!!!! Every single person that attended, young and old, had a FANTASTIC time. It was a TWO HOUR NON STOP DANCE JUGGERNAUT. There was such a great variety of hit songs from different artists and genres. The thing that impressed me the most was how RIDICULOUSLY GOOD they were. Seriously, I had to watch them real close to see if they were lip syncing, they were THAT good. When they kicked into the song Jump by Van Halen, the place EXPLODED. I kid you not, everyone thought David Lee Roth was on stage. I really could go on and on with more words but if you are as picky as I am in finding the PERFECT band to make EVERYONE happy, you can listen to and hear some pretty UNBELIEVABLE reviews or you can go and SEE Liquid Blue with your own eyes. I think instead of being called Liquid Blue, they should go by the name "LIQUID GOLD".

Believe me, they were WELL WORTH the money...

Unforgettable Wedding Experience with Shades of Blue and Green Light Booking

Booking Shades of Blue through Green Light Booking was one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding.

From the start, working with booking agent Matt Johnson was an absolute pleasure. Matt was knowledgeable, responsive, and made the entire process seamless. He went above and beyond—from helping me find a cellist for the church ceremony to organizing a live opportunity to hear Shades of Blue before booking.

Within the first minute of seeing them perform, I knew without a doubt—they were the band for our big day!

Shades of Blue completely blew me away. The vocalists are top-tier performers—incredibly experienced and some even have been on American Idol or as backup singers for major vocal artists. Their talent is truly exceptional. Not only do they sound incredible, but their on-stage energy is contagious. They danced through nearly every upbeat song, keeping our guests on their feet and the atmosphere SO MUCH FUN all night long.

A huge shout-out also goes to their AMAZING band manager, Nikki. She was kind, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout the planning process. From answering my many questions, to customizing the song list and even helping to create instrumental tracks for our church service, Nikki’s attention to detail and care made a world of difference!

Shades of Blue didn’t just perform at my wedding—they made it unforgettable. They were hands down the highlight of the night, and I cannot recommend them...

I have been lucky enough to have Liquid Blue perform at multiple events that I am responsible to provide the entertainment for. Each time they have totally captivated the audience. This is due to the amount of preparation that Nikki and the musicians put into each event. This is not just some weekend warrior band that shows up and plays. They send out questionnaires, find out what the client’s needs are, rehearse, prepare timelines, have extensive sound checks etc. so that everything is perfect before they ever walk out onto the stage. Just two weeks ago they performed for me, in Tulsa Oklahoma, for the biggest Fundraising Gala in Tulsa and they went way above and beyond normal expectations to please everyone. It was a USO themed event and first they made time to choreograph music for the dancers that were brought in and then they put together a set list that had the older guests out on the dance floor, within the first song (this just doesn’t happen anymore), performing music from the big band era. When the party music started it was standing room only for 2 hours nonstop. If you have an important event then go with Liquid Blue if you want it to be flawless....
