TRASH. They have a 3.3 here for a reason. Go… To… Miramar instead. Faster, better, more knowledgable, accommodating and are aware and sympathetic to the needs of the military and its members. I wasnt entered into DEERS as retired or issued my DD214 until three weeks after I retired so I couldnt get my retirement ID before I physically retired. I go to this location with my now expired CAC card and this office cant except it as a form of ID because its expired due to no fault of my own. But the identification information i.e. picture, birthday, DoD ID number contained on the card is still valid and should have been allowed to be used as a form of identification. Also my drivers license for my home state is valid up to 90 days after my retirement but this office wont accept that as a form of identification either. He said “Its good for you to drive with but not a good enough form for ID issue”. So Its good enough to identify me as an authorised driver but not good enough to identify me for a retirement identification card? I also gave him a copy of my birth certificate and my original copy of my wedding certificate and still. Not good enough. DEERS needs to change that policy with the influx of backlogged DD214 issuances its impossible to be in accordance with. If all your doing is verifying I am who I am then any of the above mentioned state issued forms of identification should have been sufficient. Or have security access questions as a second form of identification like every other legitimate business and/or financial institution. LAST THING. Dont bother grabbing a comment card with the QR code on it from their counter because it will take you to this other site where youll be able to voice your frustrations in the hopes that theyll address concerns BUT it will give you a “submission error”.. delete your write up and ultimately have it not go anywhere. my experience at this ID lab could not have gone more smoothly. I did not have an appointment and walked in with all my required paperwork and documentation that I looked up beforehand And I waited about 10 minutes before being seen by Jordan. Jordan, hands down, made my experience stressless and worry free! We hit a couple snags but she utilized all her resources ensuring I got everything I came in for and preventing me from having to come back and make another visit.

Horrible service, I am a disabled veteran who called this office about getting a pin # so I could access the base through the turnstile, I arrived an hour early as a walk in, the lady who I interacted with I said I need a pin to enter the base said I had go to the west side of the base, I called several different places, asked multiple gate security where to go and no right answers.
