I booked my Pilates class through class pass and had some difficulty finding free parking, and I was late. Called the studio for help and the owner of the studio said it was unlikely that the instructor will let me in since we passed the 5 min grace period (back then by 2-3 mins). She started to have this terrible attitude lecturing me how important it is to be punctual and how disruptive I would be if I enter the classroom late. Okay, being late is on me and I get that. I gave the class up and asked her if she could at least still mark me as present since I am already here, so in this way class pass doesnāt charge me a no show fee. She made it very clear that she doesnāt care and was not willing to do anything. āIf you donāt take the class you are absent.ā Iām not saying being late is the correct thing to do here and Iām not proud. But Iām not seeing the LEAST AMOUNT of understanding. Key takeaways: 1) parking could be confusing; 2) the studio expects everybody to be on time otherwise someone is going to give you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis studio is the absolute best Pilates studio in San Diego! And I have tried a BUNCH of them. The owner, Andrea, is an absolute gem. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny (which really helps the time fly!) I have numerous physical limitations I need to be mindful of and was often being injured at larger studios that don't give you the one-on-one attention that Andrea does. Plus, all the equipment is brand newāwhich is a treat to workout on. (A quick side note to give context for the one random negative review I see here on Google. That gal gave this studio 1 star because she arrived late and complained she couldn't find free parking in downtown. Everyone that lives here knows most of the parking is going to be metered. Plus, she also gave a bad review because the owner (who took her phone call 10 minutes after class had started) wouldn't mark her as "present." Ummm, why would she?? I also use ClassPass and don't expect studio owners to break any rules if I don't manage my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am new to Pilates and have tried 3 different locations before coming to Radical Change. Andreaās classes by far are my favorite. I was challenged and I feel every muscle activated. I left there thinking, āthis is what Pilates is supposed to be!ā Iām still a beginner and Andrea did help me with some modifications. I like that we did more than the reformer. She is a patient instructor and very helpful.
The location is great with ample parking on the street. It cost $1.25 which is very inexpensive for street parking. I will...
