South Mission Beach Volleyball Courts — Local services in San Diego

One of the best places I’ve ever played sand volleyball. There’s a great mix of skill levels, and you can challenge anyone you want. I usually played with my friends in a weekly organized game, but one time it was just me and a skilled friend visiting from Washington, DC. We challenged some of the top players there. We didn’t win — but the winners were graceful and classy, which honestly felt so different from how things often went down back in DC. It was a refreshing reminder of the contrast between San Diego and DC culture.

Great place to find good volleyball. The weekends is a pretty safe bet for pickup games on the challenge courts.
