My family and I always like to try out and support local eateries. We were in the neighborhood of OB so went to We Be OB. Parking is basically just an unstriped lot. The combo of this eatery being located at the entrance to Robb Field and next to a traffic circle (vs a more traditional 4-way stop intersection) makes finding their parking lot a bit confusing. There are 5 outdoor tables and some indoor seating. Unfortunately at almost every outdoor table there was a lingering odor. Not sure where it originated from, if from the city street or it being a particularly hot day causing the rubbish in the trashcans to heat up. Additionally there were more than a few flies, again not sure if related to the odor. There is a 21 over patio (which I assume is only true at night) which is the nicest place to eat and didn't have the odor issue like the other outdoor tables had. The menu was interesting, particularly their "panini weenies". There were 4 of us, each getting a different food item including a couple of smoothies. At the time we visited (around noon on a Sunday), there was a softball tournament going on in Robb Field so there was a steady stream of walk ups from that tourney. These made up most of the clientele. There was a consistent line of about 3-4 deep but all the orders came out in a timely manner. There seemed to be only 1 person working the front taking orders and walking out the dine-in food. He was friendly and efficient.

Most disappointing Açaí bowl in SD; from a Brazilian reviewer. Incredible location, good shade for a sunny day, enthusiastic service but the Açaí was poor. I would call it a cereal bowl, sugary coconut flake bowl, granola bowl or anything else that had more presence in the bowl than the two spoons of Açaí at the corner of the bowl. I wish I was exaggerating, but normally the açaí would take over the other condiments, melt and leave a deliciously creammy taste and flavor, but there was an enormous portion of overly sweet coconut flakes, granola, maybe two sliced strawberries, about two tea spoons of blueberries (who were actually fresh fortunately), tiny squares of mango, and that was 3/4 of the bowl, everything else was either the Açaí or just empty space.

I hate to give this place less than 4 stars. I think it would be 4 if they were on the beach or had a better location. The crew was awesome and the food was good. However, if you’re going to put “Dogs” out as a leader, show some variety. I worked in the food service industry as a salesman. Have a dog made to reflect your unique brand. Don’t just use stock hot dogs. Great ingredients, the sauerkraut was excellent and I loved the peppers and choice of bread. They are doing some upgrades outside and I think they will only get better. Of course I was only able to try a small sample of their menu, so drop in and decide yourself. I will definitely recommend this place.

I attempted to get a bite to eat at this establishment that has great reviews and claims to be dog friendly. While parking my car, my dog, who was still in his vehicle, was extremely excited and vocal, the employee taking a smoke break in a parking spot over from me walked inside and I shortly followed, I asked if I could come in to order my food with my dog and he rolled his eyes and preceded to tell me with major attitude “as long as your dog doesn’t keep barking at other dogs”. It was extremely uncomfortable and completely uncalled for. Again, my pup wasn’t barking at ANYTHING other than expressing his excitement while inside his own personal vehicle, once he stepped out of the car, he was well behaved and calm. I’m mind blown at the treatment by an establishment that has such high pupper traffic as this, very...
