Lots of open space for a get together, BBQ, picnic or parties on the grass or sand. Launch a kayak from the beach side or fish easily off the rocks. I have even seen snorkelers spearfishing around the rocks. Has a few fire pits, but better get there early if you want one. Road to the point is mostly sand, it gets dusty and trucks constantly spin their wheels throwing sand and dust everywhere. Nice views of the sunset over the bay if you can deal with noise from the transients. Lots of RVs, trucks and generators. Policing more would help keep the trouble makers out.

Fun if you are quick at grabbing a parking spot, but worth it! Boat rental is nice and worth the parking issues. Not much shade don’t forget the sunblock. People were chill and cool,if you want sail they got sailboats if you want stand up paddle, they got plenty of boats. Or if you want catch some rays..come chill with me on the grass.

Love this cove, great for kids as the shallow bank goes out pretty far and during low & high tides provides a safe area to walk & swim in the water. Just be mindful of sting rays, halibut, calms, and snails as your walking along. This spot also has bench grassy areas, public restrooms with show (cold), and a lifeguard.

It's a peaceful and happy place to go hang out with friends and family. Just looking at the water and people kayaking and in boats it's very relaxing! The atmosphere was / is nice ... watching little kids playing and riding there bikes and or skateboards , scooters etc etc. Good place for a picnic and or birthday party , BBQ , and don't forget your jacket it can get a little chilly out !!! At the right time you can see the Marine layer which looks kinda spooky with the boats floating in place. I was surprised that they still have fire pits for a bound fire experience 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥you hardly see that anywhere anymore. Your right down the street from the roller coaster. Come out and have...

Lots of room and sand beach access. Great location to bring the family. Calm water for swimming. BBQ grills and tables waiting for you. Restrooms nearby. Park as soon as you make the left turn at the light near the Bahia Resort. Parking at the end of the street is really non existent, very tight to turn around. There is a pagoda that you can reserve for large events but parking is slim alongside the street. There is always someone fishing on the canal side. Plenty of Big boats anchored in the...
