We visited this restaurant as a last resort of sorts. I saw the less than stellar reviews and was cautious. We were vacationing to San Diego, and it is our last night here. We decided to order wings for me, a Chicken Parm sandwich for my dad, my mom got a gyro, and my brother Chicken Alfredo. We waited over an hour for the food we ordered to be delivered to our hotel, just for us to call the restaurant to call the place to check on our order. To our dismay, apparently there were no active delivery drivers, which we had to call to be informed of. We drove to the place, and my mom, off-hand, mentioned to an employee that it was supposed to be delivered. He took offense to that and pointed out that delivery was not checked off on the bag, therefore it wasn’t to be delivered, as if the bag was magical and checked itself off. We took whatever food we got and left. We opened the goody bag of “food”, to see we were given what we ordered…kind of. They gave us no utensils, and gave us a random slice of sauceless pizza. The Alfredo tasted like prison food. If schools served wings I imagine I just tasted something similar. The sandwich was burnt but okay, and the gyro was actually very good. Another fallout was that 2 out of the 4 of us now have bad stomachaches, one from the “Alfredo” and one from the gyro. All and all we had a fun ordering first and then looking at the what turned out to be very accurate reviews after. It was...
Read moreDidn't have a chance to try their food, unfortunately, since they were supposed to deliver to our hotel and then went to the wrong hotel. After we waited 15 more minutes from when they said they were leaving the wrong hotel and they hadn't arrived(after waiting a total of 50 min) we called to cancel our order. We were starving and hadn't heard from them (I knew room service could deliver some great food super quick).
So 10ish min later the delivery kid shows up with our food and I'm so sad because we were really hungry but we had already cancelled the order with Capri pizza and placed an order for room service. I refuse the food and tell the kid we had already cancelled the order- fast forward 5 days later and Capri charged my card that night for the total amount. Now I'm waiting for the owner, Abraham, to refund the charges after someone falsely charged our card and I'm sure I'll have to follow up and bug them about this. My advice, if you are at the Bahia Resort order the Flatbread pizza through room service or order through their concierge. Horrible experience with...
