Mission Market — Local services in San Diego

I am a local market connoisseur in that I love small mom and pop shops that put pride in their business. This is absolutely one of those places. You know - The kinda place that if you are 10 cents shorts they will just tell you to get them back next time. They somehow remember, recognize and give the benefit of the doubt to each and every customer. My sailboat is moored on a ball right on the back side of this market in Mission Bay so I go there for a lot of my supplies and they always have it all. Thanks for providing a great service to your community. Great beer selection also with lots of cooler doors with all kinds of beverages for a warm day...

OBSCENELY expensive.

I was shocked that my total was $40 for the SAME ITEMS I could get at Ralphs for $25.

This place essentially exists to rip off visitors and tourists, so if possible, avoid at all costs.

If you MUST go here, walk into the nearby liquor store for slightly better prices.

For the owners: This is what happens when you charge unfair prices. Not only do you lose a customer, but we end up telling others (in person and online) to avoid your business, which, overtime ends up having the OPPOSITE effect...

Place is a rip off. I asked the cashier how much it was for a 20oz coke and had to repeat myself 3 times. Either because he had his airpods in or didn't understand what 20oz meant. He said 2.99. So I bought a can because it was cheaper $1.99. The price is posted as such. He charge me $3. I gave him a $5 and he gave me back $2, I told him he owed me a $1. He said no its 2.99. Don't come here the rest of their items are overpriced. Instead, go across the street to the other market on the corner. Clearly these people...
