T.J. Maxx — Local services in San Diego

First employee I encountered was very friendly and helped me find neck pillows for my plane ride. Afterwards I realized I left my wallet in the car so I left my things with the cashier so that I could retrieve my wallet out of my vehicle. What looked to be the manager who was wearing black pants and a floral black and white shirt followed me out of the store completely and to my vehicle and stood at my vehicle while I retrieved my purse. After she realized she was following me for absolutely no reason she scurried back into the store. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in my entire life. To think it’s 2019 and people of a different skin tone are getting followed out of the store without any bags or anything to even take with me. My feelings were sincerely hurt by the profiling that went on while in this store. Please review your loss prevention procedures and treat everyone accordingly/the same. Whether it’s reviewing cctv or hiring secret floor walkers but to be bluntly followed out the store for NO REASON with no merchandise in hand was ridiculous! It’s 2019 STOP! I will never return to this store!!! After leaving the store spending money with them I walked out feeling like scum for actually spending my money with people who’d follow me completely to my car when I gave them no indication of possible theft. Please retrain employees on the importance of customer service not once did she say hi to me or welcome me to tjmaxx she instead followed me around to the extent of following me to my vehicle. So...

What I do know is when returning and purchasing items at a Ross store it's no different than that of a TJ Maxx. It's all one line.

My experience today at TJ Maxx in San Ysidro was unfavorable. I thought to myself, I should just stay in line since I'm already half way down. I recall seeing approximately 20 plus customers ahead of me while more were piling up behind me. It felt like 15 to 20 minutes had passed until I arrived at a register. The transaction went well and received my refund in no time. The register lines at TJ Maxx was definitely worse than Ross. They were very slow. Staff at register was friendly though. There were various registers open, of course, all busy. There was one security guard posted at the entrance area and overall store looked ok. From a quick glance at the entire store, the store did not appear...

I’m giving Tjmaxx this location at las Americas a 1star due to purchasing a perfume but haven’t received it, their receipt is made hard to read for whatever reason but it was clear I bought the said amount of body products which didn’t add up. I’ve gone into the stores twice, managers took copy of my receipt number and name, omg they haven’t called nothing I think it’s unfair because I work very hard for my money and made many sacrifices. It’s been about two months now and nothing is happening when ever I explain to them that I haven’t gotten my item. Please I need a higher opp to reach out to me and help me with this. Yea yea yea it’s just a perfume but it’s my money that had purchased that item I didn’t received. I’m sure if I was white I would have gotten help...
