Today, my sister, our pup, and I visited your Coach outlet with the intention of finding a holiday gift for our mother. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful shopping experience turned into a moment of discomfort due to the behavior of one of your security personnel.
As we waited in line, I felt uneasy under the watchful eyes of the African-American security guard stationed at the entrance. His demeanor and prolonged observation felt targeted and unwelcoming, which my sister also noticed during checkout. Despite our intent to shop and the significant purchases we made, his actions left us feeling profiled and undervalued as customers.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Profiling, whether conscious or unconscious, reflects poor judgment and undermines the values of inclusivity and respect that brands like Coach should represent. It's disheartening when actions like this come from someone who shares our background, making the experience all the more disappointing.
I strongly urge you to address this issue by considering retraining for security and staff on appropriate customer engagement and unconscious bias. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected, especially when they are supporting your brand.
I am open to discussing this matter further with the regional or district manager, as I believe constructive dialogue is key to preventing such experiences...

Noticed that the original prices were much higher then before, I am familiar with the products, purses that were $360-is before, now above $400 - an old luxury retail trick I asked the manager to ring my purchase with my tax except number, he went to the back and declared that it should be a card, not a sheet of paper, which is simply not true, so I Googled how California Tax Excempt certificates look like, and showed it to him on my phone, just to be denied again. Meanwhiles the cashier who was supposed to bring up my purchase started helping someone else, despite the fact that there was no line and other cashiers were also available. She sent me to another one, who too was busy. Frustrated by the terrible service, I left without the bag. Half an hour of my life wasted because of unknowable management and badly...
Read moreAhh where to begin. I ordered this bag online. It went back ordered then cancelled then ordered to a store in Houston then cancelled. It was a headache and this was a gift for my mama bear. So an agent told me about this location in Cali and that they could maybe help. Let me tell you. When I spoke to Julie about what has happened and what bag I wanted. Not only did she have the bag, but I was able to buy the bag even though I wasn’t physically there. I never heard of such thing before. Maybe that’s not a new thing, but to me it is. Anyways Julie came through and got me the bag shipped out same day to Houston. Got it today. It was sooner than the original delivery date. The smile on my mom’s face when she saw that the gift that we thought wasn’t possible. It was made possible and for that I’m forever grateful. Excellent service!...
