Unbelievable!!!!!!! I can't believe what just happened!!! I'm from Canada & shop in Ralph Lauren every time we visit US. I always buy a LOT from this chain. When I came to this store in San Diego, the nice lady Hilda told me that there is a promotion going on currently and if I text "Savings" to 89448, I will get additional 25% off. So I spent/wasted two hours of my life in this store picking up cloths. When I got to the cashier, I texted Savings to that number, accepted to always receive the messages from this number. Then something absolutely outrages happened! There must have been some technical issue with their server as instead of a coupon I got this message saying "Polo Factory Stores: Thanks for texting! We didn't understand your message, please try again. Text stop to cancel. Text Help for help". Hilda asked her manager how to handle this situation. The manager offered 15% as apparently I was supposed to receive a coupon and somehow it didn't come. I insisted on getting 25% as I did my part and sent the message as the promo asked. It was their technical issue after all. The manager took me to the posted with fine print, but we didn't find anything relevant as to why I would get that message. So I kept insisting - it's a public offer and the store was legally required to honour it. At this point the manager gone very very rude and said that he wasn't going to give me these 25% and that his name was Antony, so I could complain as much as I want and that I should walk out of any door if I don't like his decision. I couldn't believe my ears. This is the last thing you expect to hear from a store manager of a high scale chain like this. But this aweful experience hasn't ended with this... When he said I could complain about him as much as I want I took my phone and attempted to take his picture so that I can send a complaint about him. He furiously grabbed the phone out of my hand and literally pushed me out of the store using his muscles!!!!!!!!! And this guy was huge! Can you believe that!?!?!?!? I'm still shaking after what happened today. You pay premium prices at this store for what? For humiliating treatment like that? I've never been so humiliated in my life! There were 3 cashiers and customers watching all this. NEVER EVER!!!! Never ever I'm returning to Ralph Lauren again. Please delete my email address and phone number from your database if you can't properly train your managers on how to treat the customers, especially those who spend thousands of dollars in your store from year to year! I'm going to file a complaint with a Better Business Bureau and all possible organizations out there. Yesterday, i was walking and looking all clothes on the shelf for my son, and of course u wont get of what u just look. She walked after me and talked spanish and i heard "omg" then I asked her "are u mad at me?" She answered "im not talking to you" and okay, im continue to look at the clothes for my son, she kept walking after me and fold all the clothes back on the shelf. She asked if i need any help. I did not answer and her face got so mad. I said "this is your job" and she called me "you are dirty" omg why i am dirty of looking thru all the clothes? And it was a employee and she was mad at me about I was looking thru all the clothes. I was just checking the sizes and was gonna put them back. Since after that, she was kinda stalking to me to make sure I put the clothe back on the shelf with perfectly holding. I didn’t even make any mess or anything.
