Paid $40 for for a supposed 30 minute foot massage ($80 for the two of us). And unfortunately the massage was less than 20 minutes for each of us. They kept walking out of the room, multiple times. And definitely finished before 30 minutes was done (there are clocks on the walls and I stared at it the entire time). And the technique itself was not relaxing. I don’t like not tipping, even when service is bad. So I went to tip them in cash, asked for change (to break into smaller notes), and she pushed for me to give the entire $20 as a tip. I felt so awkward and annoyed already I couldn’t be bothered to fight it out. So basically I wasted $100 on 2-20 minute poor quality foot massages. Would not recommend. And will not be...

Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience

I rarely leave reviews, but this was one of the worst massage experiences I’ve ever had. The masseuse barely did any actual massage—just pressed on a few spots and left the room multiple times. At one point, I could clearly hear another masseuse answering a phone call during someone else’s session. Totally disruptive and unprofessional.

To top it off, after the session, my friend’s masseuse demanded a larger tip, even though the service was subpar at best. Tipping is supposed to reflect the quality of care, not be coerced. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. Save your money and go somewhere that respects your time...

This was by far the most unprofessional service I have received from a massage therapist. I was guilt-tripped for not paying a 44 percent tip for a 30-minute massage (I offered 20 percent) and I was subsequently called “cheap” repeatedly in Chinese.

The manager proceeded to say “This is not China” despite 20-25 percent in a Chinese context being very uncommon. Beyond that, the massage was not “very good.” I noted that I was having shoulder problems but only received elbow work on my back.

Finally, I did not appreciate the assumption that I was “looking for more” as I had patronized this established strictly for professional services. Nothing more....
