BUYER BEWAREBUYER BEWARE* We purchased several mattresses including top of the line Beautyrest Black. Initially, we were happy with the customer service. Laura assured us that they were a family business that would make it right if there were any issues. We informed them right away that the mattress was sagging. If you sit on the side, you would fall off. If you rolled to the edge, the mattress would dip down. They had us rotated it & allowed it to āsettleā. Over the next several months, the mattress got worse. We started to get back problems.
Customer service went from friendly to dismissive. Over the next YEAR we had numerous phones, emails, in-person store visits. We were treated as if we were being unreasonable for the possibility that this was a defective mattress. If we were sold a factory 2nd, we were not informed.
Bedroom Outlet asked us to pay $50 for their 3rd party inspector to check. The inspector said āYeah, somethingās wrong with this mattressā. He even said heās working for the company so his report has to be favorable for them. Apparently, it has to sag MORE than 1.5ā. We were conveniently at 1.5ā but thatās only because he measured the pillow top. Something was probably wrong with the coils/springs. You can hear noises when you lay down. It is upsetting to think that we spent over $ 2500 to get poor customer service and a defective mattress. We were so close to bringing legal action. Anyhow, $2500 is now in the trash. Sad because we purchased several mattresses from them & never had any issues. This is NOT how you treat customers BUYER...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was happy to find somewhere local for a dresser and with solid wood and not exorbitant prices, but it wasn't the best experience. It's a crazy time so was pleased to find items not stuck on containers. However, I was told they weren't sure when they would be able to get it because they needed to wait for other customer orders to fill the truck (took about 3 weeks). I found I had to call and check in with delivery multiple times and questions I had, even though they always said they would get back to me. It finally was ready for delivery and like other reviews said, I felt pressured to tip the movers for moving up a flight of stairs and hand twisting screws in for the drawers (I ended up using an actual scredriver to tighten). It went up against my bedroom wall and I didn't think to pull it out to check- only checked the front and drawers. As I was vacumming, I pulled it out and there was a hole/dent in the back panel! I don't know if the delviery guys saw it, did it, I immediately called the store and they said they would get a replacement- again undetermined time. It took another 3 weeks and the guys ended up replacing the back panel. Well, they chipped some of the dresser and did not replace it evenly. At least there is no hole I guess. The company apologized and refunded me the delivery cost but I was disappointed with the quality of the service for the cost...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2 days ago, I walked into Mattress Firm down the road from this establishment ready to purchase a bedroom set and seal a deal...However, that didn't happen cause the sales speech went on forever, and when another customer walked in, I was left aside as both staff working decided to attend to him and his pillow purchase. I walked out and thank GOD i did cause here iam probably the most satisfied customer in SF today. hehehe... John the owner greeted me the moment I walked in and because I knew what I wanted, he was soo helpful in giving me options and what he has available instead of trying to push the most pricey product he had in his store...if anyone reading this, I'd say before u make any bedroom purchase, living or even dining room furnitures, please check this place out first cause it's not only family owned and operated, these guys are spot on in my book. I can be a very picky customer especially when it comes to customer service....iam giving them a 5Star and I wish them all the best and trust me, iam going back for more....Thanks John for such a great service & deal and looking forward doing more business with you and recommending your business to friends and relatives... Keep up the great work in this...
