New Asia Supermarket — Local services in San Francisco

This is such a surprisingly spacious asian grocery store because it used to be a chinese restaurant that served dim sum, dinners, and hosted banquets. The remnants of the restaurant can be seen all over and it's fun to walk around looking for them i.e. the stunning chandeliers that still hang from the ceilings. The store has quite a nice variety of asian food and items. Some produce are higher in price than other places close around but some snacks and food are fair and cheaper than other places so it's a mixed bag when it comes to the price. May 2025 Asian supermarket built within an old resto and still holds much of the interior decor of the old establishment. This strange and unobtrusive style actually adds to the charm and simplicity of the place.

It is arguably the largest store in SF Chinatown with most of the basic produce and items you would need to find. Though most of the brands will reflect more mid ranged brands this is a go to store if you are looking for those essential supplies.
