It feels calm, open, and thoughtfully designed with a laid-back surf motif that puts you at ease right away. One standout feature is their “tech detox” policy on weekends. From Friday through Sunday, they ask guests to unplug, and people actually follow it. I saw groups chatting, reading, and playing board games instead of staring at screens.

There’s a cozy games corner with chess, cards, and backgammon, along with a nice selection of books and unique surf-themed items for sale. The space encourages you to slow down and enjoy being present. Its location is another big plus. Nice space, we walked in just before closing and the boy behind the counter working July 11, 2025 literally asked us to leave when we only wanted to look around as there were still plenty of customers still inside. He kept repeating that we should leave in a very stern way. It was very strange, even after we mentioned we only wanted to look at the place. It was not even 5pm yet which was their posted closing time. I realize customer service and professionalism is not a Hallmark of this generation so I owe it to a more gentle and polite generation to post this negative review. Love this place! During the week it’s much calmer and pleasant. Even though all sells out pretty quickly, it’s possible to find vegan baked goods. No wifi which I think it is better; otherwise it would be unbearable even during the week.
