This place and the family that runs it are totally inspirational. Danny brings to the table 20 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher and several years as a father of two, along with his professional woodworking background.
He's extremely good with children and has a gentle-yet-firm, no-nonsense approach to misbehavior. They have a pleasant crispiness on the outside, moist pound cake texture inside, and flavors that aren't too sugary so you really enjoy all of the components that make up the donut. Be sure to try a coffee or one of their many other drinks. I love that they source their coffee from a Oakland roaster. These folks are all about supporting other local...
