I absolutely loved getting my nails done here! I got an acrylic removal and gel x. Vivian is super sweet, and very talented! She made me feel comfortable with speaking up if I didn’t like something about my nails, because she said that she’d fix anything that I didn’t like. To be honest, the only thing that I would say that felt off was how they remove acrylics. When a nail tech was taking off my previous acrylics, it definitely damaged my nail beds pretty bad. I thought the process would be to soak them off, scrap, and repeat. But because a bunch of my nails were lifting, she took a nail extension to put under the acrylic, and ripped them off. It hurt really bad with a couple nails… I told her that it felt uncomfortable and kept pulling away, but she kept insisting 🫤. My pinkies weren’t lifted, so that’s when she did the soak off method. Overall, my experience was pretty great. Just because of the removal, I bumped it down a star, but everything was a huge slay 💅🏽🫶🏽🩷❤️!!! I give four stars because of Vivian, other than that I would give only two stars. She is super nice and always makes clear on the things what I want to do and which design that I like. First time was pretty good with her. We had a good experience. But the second was horrible with the other staffs. Me and my sis was about to do acrylic extension. They didn’t understand what we are asking about and didn’t try to make it clear, did what they want. I had accident on my index finger and I told the girl to be careful of it, I feel so much pain on it. I also translated it in their language. What they thought was, I want to refill, actually I wanted to remove old acrylic and completely change it into new shape and design. The WORST part is removing the old acrylic nails raw without putting any gel or liquid. For my sister, that staff did the gel extensions without asking anything to her. This is a terrible nail place. I have been twice. They do toes allright, however for standard manicures they are terrible. Yesterday I made a 3 pm appointment, showed up on time and they said wait, filled a basin with water and asked me to sit- I sat for 20 minutes waiting, almost left, and should have. The woman who did my nails, the owner, slopped on the polish, using only one coat of very thick polish- as a result the polish did not set properly and pushed back. I went back in 15 minutes and they redid the job- only to slop on thick polish that again pushed back and clumped up- I paid $22 for this terrible manicure. I will never go back- and there are plenty of good nail places that don't make you wait when you make an appointment and do a good job. This place...
