The Click — Local services in San Francisco

Perfect for our extended family of 8, ranging in age from 11 to 85 – much more fun and flexible than the traditional photo studio. The size of the space is more appropriate for smaller groups, but we made it work – including shots with all 8 of us – and had fun the entire hour.

There is a private bathroom, a lounge space with full length mirror for wardrobe changes, and complimentary bottled water available in the fridge. I also saw some makeup in a basket, including color correctors.

For photo sessions, there are two tasteful options for seated poses: a plain white cube, and a white wooden stool. There’s also a small white synthetic fur throw, and the backdrop can be white, black, pink, or light blue.

After the session, we decided to purchase the full set of shots (worth it!). You can also order prints, although we didn’t. The lighting and color in the photos looked fantastic. We plan to do this for our next family photo session, and for updated profile pics.

(My only minor beef was with communication. Getting answers to questions was a struggle, with no responses to my inquiries until after I booked my session – and even then, there was quite some lag. However, I did this in late December, so maybe it was due to the...

Wowow this place is SO cool and one of the best additions to the neighborhood in a long time! We booked online a few weeks in advance because we wanted a specific date + time, and when we showed up it really felt like a private and special experience.

Sunny was so awesome; they made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and offered us drinks and set us up with tips, music, & a whole vibe. Otherwise, it’s totally private so you can tailor the experience to be as laid back or as serious as you want. You get live feedback on a screen to help guide you and a wireless remote to control the camera. If you need any assistance, they’ll come help you immediately, including changing backgrounds, etc.

The photos are STUNNING. They’ve really put so much thought into the setup and the results really show it. I don’t think I’ve ever had photos of myself that looked this lovely—no joke.

There’s a booking fee for the time slot and then an additional package to get all the digital files, which I thought was super reasonable for everything you get. They’re shared to you via GDrive almost immediately.

we truly needed a self portrait studio like two years ago for the folks who are socially anxious but really want nice photos of themselves, and i am so so glad we finally got the click who offers such high quality and professional photos.

*to also disclose, due to their tardiness of opening the store, i was compensated by receiving all my digital files for free + a free 15 minute add-on. *

i am very impressed by the quality and service that the click provided for my 30 min session. their kindness and hospitality was conveyed to me through accommodating the many pose, angle, lighting, and background changes that i requested, having a dressing room and bathroom, and just the small details of saying such sweet words that the photos are looking good or that we look cute, that really moved me and hyped me up.

i also appreciate and admire how they consistently collaborate with other local businesses to uplift the community of san francisco and making themselves very accessible.
