I was incredibly disappointed by my experience today. After waiting nearly 20 minutes for my order, I was shocked to discover that my bacon, egg, and cheese bagel contained only a single slice of bacon, broken in half to give the illusion of more. Perplexed, I returned to the counter after taking one bite and politely inquired about the portioning, even showing the staff member—who initially appeared just as surprised as I was. However, she then proceeded to explain that there simply may not have been enough bacon available at the time my sandwich was prepared.
I couldn’t help but question—why serve an incomplete sandwich at full price? Rather than acknowledging the issue with understanding, she accused me of raising my voice, which was entirely uncalled for. As a loyal customer who supports this establishment, I expected better. This 'minority-owned' business charges what I consider to be very high prices for products that are simply mediocre or average. There is nothing particularly outstanding about the product, service,or environment that justifies the prices charged here. If you think that paying $50+ for a pie that is $10-$15 elsewhere is somehow going to "help the community" then this is just the place for you. If you are more realistic or practical-minded,you would do better to shop elsewhere and hand the money saved directly to someone in need. I do wish them happiness and success, but they really do need to...
