July 12, 2022 UPDATE: After calling customer service again this morning to really verify that I couldn't return, they checked the exact model number of the dress I purchased and confirmed my thought and what I was originally told: that I could return that dress. Lucky for me, today was the very last day I could return, so I had to drive all the way back to the store during my work hours and return it to get my money back. I informed the sales associate working there that the other people working there should be better informed on their return policy and not just dismiss any item (they didn't even really look at the dress). They were incorrect in saying ALL dresses could not be returned - it is only "special occasion" dresses that are final sale. I felt like I wasted a bunch of time going back and forth yesterday and today, but at least the lady helping me return today (who was the same person who helped me purchase in the first place) was nice and prompt about my return, as well as customer service on the phone. I updated my review from 1 star to 3 - would hope that they can improve on all their employees better knowing their policies.
July 11, 2022: Worst most deceiving place ever. I went there to look at multiple dress options for an upcoming trip and they told me I could return them if I changed my mind. I returned within the 14-day period and they informed me the dress I purchased could not be returned because “dresses are final sale”. So why did no one tell me this and instead told me I COULD return them if I changed my mind as long as it was within 14 days? Read moreI ordered stuff online yet when I went in to the store to return or exchange, they told me they couldn’t return or exchange anything their system was down and it was a “known issue” they re directed me to their customer service so they can send me a ship label, they also didn’t had any shoe sizes apparently.
I wanted to thank the lady that was helping out for at least trying but they wouldn’t even want to give a name?
Weirdest customer experience and just because i asked the name of the employee since she told me I could also called the next day so i have a reference. the store manager came in to the conversation and did not acknowledge anything and repeated the customer service phone number steps. I spent about $500 and it is a shame the way i got treated. I don’t think I will shop in here again. I wasn’t rude but either way they should have other protocols if the system is down for online returns, all they did was just attempt to log in in a tablet.They didn’t even check on their actual system/computer. Yet other people in store are able to still purchase and return normally.
I wanted to comply with their return policy and this will extend it to potentially not even being able to return the items.
