Worst service I've ever experienced in my life period. Ive been eating here since I was an infant, my parents would go here after church and I've been going here my whole life prior to the remodel as well.
Asian woman working here was so rude I will never come back, literally tried to steal from us. I will explain.
I was one dollar short (my fault yes I know I was very apologetic and explained I will bring the dollar back and that I will be right back as I live very close.) She got very upset and said I have to leave my wallet. I was very surprised at her extremely upset demeanor despite me being very apologetic, and I said yes but I have to bring my driver's license as I'll be driving back to my house to get the money
"NO LICENSE LICENSE STAY"
she was unwilling to even let me bring my driver's license with me to drive back home to bring them the one dollar I was short on, and she became very aggressive and loud. An older white couple next to us saw her yelling at me and my girlfriend over a dollar, and the wife handed us five dollars and said "I'm sorry you have to deal with that", clearly grossed out by the terrible service and trying to help us cover the money which the Asian woman was yelling at me about. We thanked them as they left, and my girlfriend began to count out the dollars as we would not be leaving a tip due to the terrible service.
When the the Asian woman realized she wasn't going to get a tip, I saw her eyes get wide and angry, and she tried to SNATCH THE BILLS FROM MY GIRLFRIENDS HANDS. She began screeching "TIP TIP!! SHE SAY TIP!", trying to tear our stack of bills out of my girlfriend's hands. After a quick struggle, my girlfriend managed to pull our money back and out the Asian womans decrepit old hands. We paid in exact change, much to the dismay of the woman who yelled at us not to come back, to which we yelled back her reassuring that we would never be returning.
I was a lifelong customer, until that nasty old Asian woman ended up being the worst person I've ever had the displeasure of receiving "service" from. Overpriced, and terrible customer service. Don't waste your money here, check out Uncle John's in downtown Campbell or a get breakfast at roses...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday around 2pm with my husband and daughter and it was a full house, but we got in with no wait! We were seated outside and the wooden decor combined with aromas of bacon gave it a real country feel, very cozy and inviting! Our server was very nice although she had a very hard time understanding our order, but we made it through the meal with no issues. The drinks on tap are Pepsi products with Coke products served in a can. Our food came out within ten minutes of ordering (very fast especially for how crowded it was!)I ordered the Number 7 on the breakfast menu as did my husband, which came with a short stack, two eggs, hash browns, and a choice of bacon or sausage (2) for about $11. Their sausage was definitely the taste of the meal and I would recommend this over the bacon! Their pancakes were on the thinner side, but still fluffy and very satiating! They use real butter! The hash browns came very close to being as good as the sausage! They had a fair amount of texture, were very flavorful, and weren't weighted down with grease. My daughter got the grilled cheese and fries on the kids menu and wasn't overly impressed with it, but enjoyed it and would come again but probably order something else. I had also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy to try, but they were never brought out and our waitress didn't realize it until after we got our bill and had to ask her to remove it. She offered to box it to go, but we decided this can be something to look forward to trying on our next visit! Overall, it was good service, our food came quickly, and it was very reasonable (two breakfast entrees, one kids meal, and three fountain drinks for $38 after tax before tip). Definitely...
Read moreDFEH One of the worse breakfast and dining experiences I have ever had. The Chinese, Mandarin speaking waiters openly mocked me for speaking to them in fluent Mandarin.
I was discriminated against by race. DFEH #DFEH Discriminated by race, by mockery of my ability to speak a language they were comfortable with. Mocked for being Chinese and able to communicate effectively in Mandarin. Discriminated by race and age, the Asian waiters treated my table differently than they did with all other tables with people who appeared caucasian, light skinned, older, or non-asian. Today I experienced Asian on Asian Racism and Discrimination, in a public restaurant in the heart of the Silicon Valley. This is disturbing. We live in one of the most diverse states in America, yet we still have discrimination and racism issues in restuarants. #DFEH
I said "买单" (pay the bill) very clearly in Mandarin, to the waiters I knew for a fact were fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and they started to openly mock me amongst themselves, in front of me, in front of other patrons, and out in the dining area. It took at least a minute of mockery before they took my card and bill.
The food quality here is absolutely subpar. They advertise themselves as an "American" style food restaurant, but the food and quality here does not meet the standards. They are half baked, mild attempts at creating American food. Don't call yourself an American food restaurant if you can't make proper American food. Every single dish I ordered tasted absolutely horrible and did not remotely taste like proper breakfast food.
Do not come here if you expect to not be discriminated, respected, properly prepared food, or...
