Phở Long Thịnh — Restaurant in San Jose

The atmosphere here is really nice, it feels authentic like stepping back into Vietnam. Service was fast and friendly, which I definitely appreciated. That said, the food was hit or miss. The pho was just okay—kind of bland, missing that rich, layered broth flavor I was hoping for. The soda chanh was a little sour with barely any sweetness, which threw it off balance. Eggrolls felt like they were cooked frozen, crispy but not very flavorful. Unfortunately, I also ended up with food poisoning after eating here, so that’s a major concern. Not sure which dish caused it, but it definitely made me think twice about returning. Solid service and a nice vibe, but the food and safety...

This was my second pho experience and I've been back twice since! I have to really he un the mood for pho and, when I am, this is my go-to! It's so reasonable price wise, excellent service (server even remembered my order last time I came!) Food cones quick, hot, very flavorful and fulfilling. I am not a huge fan of the tofu even though it wasn't bad-just not my favorite. Came back and tried the chicken, was very thin and tender, bowls are huge, the meat selections and variety make a small but very optional menu. Place is so clean, tranquil atmosphere but casual and great for lunch or dinner any day! Can't wait to eat this...

We decided to try this restaurant because my wife wanted Pho for lunch. We went there and were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. The large bowl of Pho was huge ! 1 bowl and I was full (normally I would want extra noodles but not at this restaurant). The sandwich and Vietnamese coffee was very good too.

2025-06-28 we came back again and the food, service and atmosphere is still excellent! we love coming here for good Pho. the Banhmi sandwich is absolutely delicious
