Sharing the positive experience I had with purchasing beautiful dining chairs at Habitat Home and Garden Malibu. A special shoutout to Laura Lee who went above and beyond making my experience so enjoyable. Laura was helpful since the day I stepped foot in the store, offering to stay open after she saw me drive up just as the doors were closing. Laura opened up and told me to come on in and to take my time offering to help and assist me with swatches and any furniture questions I had. She then got my number and helped me secure the last 4 chairs in stock at the company having them shipped and inspected at multiple locations and showrooms. Laura was a true pleasure and a huge reason I went through with my purchase. I also lucked out with free shipping because of the October special that the store had going on. I cannot say enough good things about Habitat. Of course every time I went in the store I would be star struck over their exquisite furniture and was excited when I could finally buy a piece. The transaction was very smooth, communication as we waited for the couch was great, and then we received our couch. Well I was so disappointed because I made the mistake of listening to my husband's advice about coloring. He's not great with design choices and his pick ended up not working at all for our lifestyle and coloring in our room. I called Habitat thinking I was SOL but told them my disappointment and to my utter relief and amazement they were able to exchange it for me for the color I had originally wanted (before listening to my husband). Before deciding to make a purchase I went few times to visit the showroom in SLO. I was always greeted professionally and cordially by members of staff The showroom has a very nice lay out easy to navigate and test the furniture Staff is knowledgeable but not pressuring you for purchase. We were made aware by Sophia that they also have a warehouse in Arroyo grande where more items were available to view and purchase. We made an appointment to go there where Sophia also met us and guided us through the inventory. We purchased several items for our business and we continue to do business together these days. Sophia and the entire team at the SLO location gave us the confidence to move forward with the purchasing.
