A very good approximation of a Taiwanese style bubble tea (boba) shop. The owners work here and the staff they hire are friendly and nice. It does get crowded from time to time since it's popularity growing, but the wait is usually short even during a rush because they know what they're doing. I don't really like my bubble tea to sweet so I usually get black tea with boba (the black, tapioca balls) and ask for no additional sugar. That said, if it's your first time is might be worth going all out and getting black tea with milk (it's all non-dairy, but you probably won't notice a difference) blended with boba. It's sweet, and pretty nice, just remember the boba are mostly for the texture although they are sweetened themselves. Some people don't care for the taste and/or texture, but it's not enough to put you off the tea/milk smoothie. The food is different, and may not be what you're expecting, but is pretty good. Boba tea places usually have flavors that run a little sweeter, saltier, or more sour than restaurant food and this place is no exception. Personally, if you're not getting boba or want some kind of snack, I'd recommend the snow fluff. Get the toppings that sound good to you and enjoy something significantly lighter than ice cream. The tea they sell to take home is fine, and they have cute gifts, but for the more elaborate stuff be prepared to pay. It's not a 99 cent store. I think it's mostly decoration anyway. The seating can get tight, but is usually adequate. I really like the drinks, food, and staff, and I bet almost anyone would. They also do just tea and just coffee. I highly recommended this place...
Read moreMy family and I went there yesterday around 4:30 pm. We were very excited to try this place. As you walk in it looks like a very cute tea shop. We went there to try their snow fluff. We placed our order and sat at the tables while we waited for our order. We received our order. We ordered 2 of the snow fluffs. They were big so we were sharing them in between 4. He gave us a spoon for each cup. I asked him for extra spoons and he said no. He said he didn’t have enough. He said he only had 5 and he needed to save them for other clients. I honestly thought it was very rude of him. I went back to the table to sit then the man called me over and handed me one more spoon and said he couldn’t give me more because he will need it for tomorrow. Which is still strange to me that he is not stocked up on spoons. At that time we were eating our treat and the man starts to yell “its 5pm, we are closed. You have to go. Sorry. Go go go. It’s closed. 5 pm 5 pm. Sorry sorry” We were honestly taken aback. I understand it was his closing time however I don’t think he should kick out his customers who are still eating or drinking their treats. I understand he would close the door to not let any new customers come in however not kick out the ones who are already inside. I honestly will never go back here again because the service was just so poor. I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone unless they don’t mind being kicked out...
Read moreOur first time we went here it wasn’t too busy, we loved the service and the drinks we got. We came a second time, it was busier but we didn’t mind that so we waited and ordered. While we were waiting for our drinks I went to go and get some napkins, but the cashier commented I should grab the amount for how many drinks I paid for and said I shouldn’t grab so many because there isn’t a lot left. I paid for 4 drinks and only had 6 napkins in my hand. Is 6 napkins too much? If they didn’t want their customers to grab too many, they could’ve kept the napkins and handed them to the customers. Personally, this was an embarrassing moment for my family and I, especially because there were so many people witnessing. While there were many people and it was busy, it is unprofessional to say such things without a sign or...
