Old Mission Gift Shop and Museum — Local services in San Luis Obispo

The gift shop is to the left of the entrance to the church. There is a museum inside the Mission that is a look at the history and the surrounding area. Starting with displays of the Chumash Indians and their culture, the museum winds through many rooms, with history of the church, and its transformation over the last 240 years. The picture collection of all the adobes around town, I found quite interesting. The Map on the wall in that room showed the ranches from land grants long ago.
