San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre — Attraction in San Luis Obispo

The show was all children actors. They were excellent and sang great! We saw Seusical. The theater is very small, so you are close no matter where you sit. They were literally singing right to us. The photo below was from my seat when they finished the performance. My only complaint was the theater is that there is no handicap parking. It is convenient that there is a parking facility right across from them, but I had a handicap person with me, so I had to let them off in the parking lot next to the theater and they had to get over the curb between the two buildings with a walker. I then pulled out and parked in the parking building and walked across. It took a while to figure out how to pay the parking. You pay as you leave. It would be quite a ways for a handicap person to travel if they were in a wheelchair or a walker and had to do it themselves, especially if they did not park on the street level parking and could not find street parking. The San Luis Obispo Little Theatre is a gem of an asset to our community, our county and to the theatrical community. Live theatre continues to live on in the plays, readers theatres, concerts and other events that take place at this facility. As there are always a stream of events in progress and coming up, I will speak to the many years of shows that I have personally seen. They are for the most part very good, and for the ones I did not care for, simply a matter of my personal tastes. As the shows are new and different every time, this give a forum for artists, directors, performers, and actors to show their stuff which they do oh so well. Very entertaining and enjoyable community theater. I waited far too long to connect here but I hope to see essentially every future production. Those we have seen so far have been varied and excellent. The seating is quite limited but there are no bad seats in the house (a small number of end seats are sold at a reduced price).
