Kate Spade Outlet — Local services in San Marcos

Super disappointed after my attempted visit today. When I looked up store hours online I found that they close at 6pm on Sunday’s. Great, we were coming in from San Antonio and would arrive before 5 with enough time before the store closed. When we arrived at 4:40 we got in line to go in (COVID precautions), as the line moved the girl working the door told us it was not a good idea for us to get in line because they close at 5pm and that they probably would not be letting anyone else in the line in, ok fine, we decided to wait anyway. A lady joined the line behind us and here comes the girl again telling her that she probably shouldn’t get in line because they close at 5. This lady told the girl well online it says you close at 6pm. As the lady was talking to her, the girl walked away, the girl then comes back showing all of us her phone that they close at 5pm and that google doesn’t update. There was absolutely no need for this girl that was working the front door to be so rude. Also, even if you close at 5pm, we were all in line before 5 so I would assume that you serve customers that were in the line before 5. Regardless the rudeness we experienced was uncalled for, if her attitude was nicer I would not be so disappointed in this location. And why are you still having people form a line of you don’t want to let...

I had an excellent time at Kate Spade! I'm not sure what the reviews about nasty employees are about, I came on a Tuesday afternoon and everyone was more than nice to me. I was obviously there looking for a deal, just like everyone else. I wanted to treat myself, and stay under $50. Not once did any employee make me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. On the contrary, I was greeted with a warm smile and the sale of the day at the front door. I had multiple employees check on me, and make sure I was okay. They were happy to answer my questions, and one of them even had a calculator with her to tell me exactly how much a tote was on the clearance rack. The store was very welcoming! It felt very playful chic, just like Kate believed in! I finally made it in a Kate Spade store and I can't wait to come back. I got a beautiful sparkly silver tote for $47!! Can't wait to come back. I would recommend to anyone. If you have a hard time finding it, it's next to Neiman Marcus...

Sales are great. Staff is rude. I guess they’re allowed to make up store policies as they please. Went in from out of town to complete a return(a Christmas gift in which I didn’t have the receipt) Store Leader, Gina Garcia quoted me a price over the telephone for the credit of 91.00 when I went in the credit added up to 70. According to Gina, the sales change from one hour to the next. When I asked why she didn’t mention that on our phone conversation, she said she was unaware of the sale change. Never apologized just said there was nothing she can do. As a store manager, the face of Kate Spade, you’d think she would right her wrong especially when capable. I then asked for the corporate number and she gave me a customer service number that was unable to resolve the issue at hand. Gina said that was the only number she had.
