Careful, you need to at the store and the store has policies to not support purchases online or on the phone or even if you already said firmly you will buy their merchandise
I want to warn future customers in purchasing in this store. Their policies are somewhat unreasonable and have little interest in supporting the customer. If you ware not on your way to the store they won't reserve it for you even if you already know the furniture you want. It might seem reasonable they have no way of guaranteeing you are on your way. They want you to say that. So you can easily say you are on your way and tell them your 3 hours away or whatever. Althouhg you already spoke with the other companies that do the delivery, know the people in the store or in the moving company. This is why Matt at RH not only gives RH a terrible reputation but is clear why he will never have any work better than he has. He has no human sensitivity for doing business or treating others well. He doesn't understand that businesses are done with human's between humans. He even goes ahead and say "things are getting heated" although things were not heated and thus after his comment they did. I conduct myself with honor and dignity and addressed him respect and honesty throughout. But his policies apart being unreasonable incentivize customers to lie to him. He has no way of knowing where I am, how I am travelling...but I can guarantee my seriousness of doing business because I know who helped me at the store, the rental business (btw who treated me fantastically, highly recommend Tiffany at 2 runway), my willingness to buy it over the phone and my willigness to speak with anyone at the store who could make this happen. I warn you buying anything from this store especially in the manager Matt is there. I bet he gets no performance review since he is the typical abusive manager but in the end there are always consequences for people's action and treatment of others. Let's see an alternative behaviour that would have been effective. Perhaps apologizing sincerely that he really cannot change the policies, letting us know why and how it would get him in trouble. Empathy goes a long way. We live in dangerous times with covid and we all are more understanding than he thinks. If he tried to treat us better perhaps this review wouldn't exist. The exact details of guessing how he could have behaved don't matter, but better treatment of customers is essential in business. I hope there are changes in this store to reflect the excellent quality of RH. Perhaps, a customer service training is essential and having a team or managers rather than 1 single cruel manager that is destroying the reputation of this store and RH in general....
Read more5 stars for a pretty good store experience. Staff is friendly, attentive, willing to answer all of your questions.
Yes, this is a Restoration Hardware store. So it IS still very pricey. Everybody should be aware of the price level you are walking into. But hey, you get what you pay for. In this case, items made of amazing QUALITY. There ARE damages to some items, typically priced accordingly.
Discounts range in amount, 50%-80%, all items have tags with a detailed written explanation of discount(s) and damages if any (pictured). They confirmed that they get new product every Friday! Which all goes straight to the sales floor. Which is great.
Once you purchase large furniture, store associates do a walk through with you, as you agree to any damages, if any. Stock employees then wrap up your items, and meet you in the back of the store to load up your items into your vehicle. Only 15 minutes after purchase!
Overall great store, variety of product, great quality items. It's nice to have this discounted option, way better than full price at The RH in the...
Read moreAwesome factory outlet for contemporay/ modern furniture in The San Marcos Outlet Mall shopping center. There is a minimalist look to many of the rather large furniture pieces and accessory tables. Everything is listed as " Final Sale" or "no replacement parts available" which, after a moment's thought, caused me to examine many of the pieces with a bit more scrutiny and I've come to the conclusion that this is Restoration Hardwares Clearance location for damaged, missing pieces and cosmetically less than perfect floor items from a regular retail outlet. Note: if you think 2k is a little steep for a casual chair then keep walking. Very stylish, very pricey. You know what they say...if you have to ask how much you probably can't afford it. If you are Trump tight with loot then mosey on in. You will find some one-of-a-kind awesome home decor items that I would...
