Geek Squad — Local services in San Rafael

I bought my HP PC at BestBuy just (weeks) over a year ago, so of course, guarantee expired. No matter, I brought it in to the GeekSquad after opening the PC to nothing but blue screen -- BLOD -- which means BLUE LIGHT OF DEATH. Could a message be any scarier? Yes, I unplugged an re-booted several times. After considering repair options incl the "friend or relative" route, I decided to bring it into GeekSquad San Rafael. They warned me that they were a little backed up, and had it for 6 days, but I picked it up yesterday, and it's operating in top shape. They gained my confidence over the week incl with the drop-off rep, his manager, and the backroom tech working on the repair. I called Geek Squad in San Rafael, CA because my monitors on my computer weren't working.

I got a tech named Troy. I thought it would be something simple to fix and he told me my computer had crashed and I needed to bring it into the store. I thought what he said was wrong.

And a minute after i got off the phone, I got it to work.

Troy was incompetent and trying to rip me off and he got me very angry.

He should be fired...
