Wow, I’m impressed! Today is Jan 8th 2023 and my wife and I were at Barn & Charm in early Oct 2022. I mentioned to a very nice young lady that works there named Xaman (pronounced Shamon) that I was looking for antique/vintage clocks. She that they didn’t have any at the moment and said to me, “I can take your number, and if something comes in, I can call you“. Here we are three months later and I get a message on my phone from her that they had just received a clock. She said that she checked it out and it was working perfectly. I was completely blown away that she remembered us and that someone actually did what they said they would do and even sent me a photo of it! She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and has a great attitude as well. I could tell by her voice that she loved her job and was smiling the whole time we were on the phone. Unfortunately, I have purchased about 9 clocks since then and have one almost identical to theirs. But, she was so nice that we are going in today to look at it anyway and possibly purchase something else if something catches our eye! Thanks so much Xaman, the world needs more...
Read moreI like to shop local and I have been shopping here since Carol owned the store on Main Street. It is has been my go to store for gifts and for retail therapy. No more. Yesterday I brought a friend here and we both spent money; however, the earrings I bought are poor quality. I brought them back today and requested a refund. I was aware that they have a no refund policy. I asked nicely if they could make an exception and was told that the defect is the nature of the earring material. I asked the clerk to ask the owner, Kathy, who also denied my request. Since I think these earrings are shoddy, I believe it would have been good customer service to assist me with a refund. They are nice here until they are not. When I left with my defective earrings, the clerk did not apologize, nor did she say goodbye. You would have thought I was unreasonable, rude and asked for the moon. I think this is bad Karma, Kathy. Barn and Charm has lost a long...
Read moreFirst time going into this cute antique store. Everything is well organized where you can look around and feel like you aren't going to drop anything. Prices are also great and lots of handmade items. Carol was super helpful and friendly. She answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed as it was our first time at this store. At both entrances they have hand sanitizer so you can feel safe walking inside. Parking is also located at the back of the store and easy access to walk inside. Will most definitly be going back to do more shopping in the...
