A sleazy place. The register clerk said “Thank you” when she wanted me to take my purchase and leave without giving me the receipt. When I asked her for the receipt she gave it to me upside down. Once I read it I saw she charged me fifty cents over the price she rang up on the register. When I asked her about it she tapped a sloppily written note taped to the register about an extra charge for credit cards under the minimum. She should have told me about the extra charge in advance and I could have paid her cash and eliminated the need for the charge, but she wanted the fifty cents.

While the interior was given a much needed cleanup and makeover, the new aesthetic is extremely bright (bring your sunglasses). Plenty of snacks, sugary drinks, beer, and wine etc. but lacking any perishable or grocery staples so that’s why only 3 stars
I’m looking forward to seeing more natural and whole food products, the kind of items that you need in a pinch to pull a meal together: sugar, salt, cooking oil, flour. I don’t expect perishable fruits and veggies but it would be nice to see more...
