I could not possibly say enough good things about Lucky Dog Hi Fi. These guys, for me mostly Truewill, (but the moment I met Danny I knew I could trust him as well) take the concept of service, care, dedication and knowhow for what they are doing, to levels far beyond what I could have imagined.

I think Truewill is every bit as dedicated as I am to me having the best sound system I can create. And clearly he is dedicated to this, not his wallet. Once we found the right equipment, he helped me find a major piece of equipment used, on line, (ie wasn’t into profit, other than that he loves what he does and creating great, great sound systems.)

I see him as a man with a passion for this and that he loves what he’s doing. I also see him as someone with great integrity.

I find Truewill to have unrelenting patience. And sometimes I think I probably require it. He once told me he has unending patience. This is what I have seen as well. I find him completely honest.

All and all I couldn’t be happier with what we are doing, the pace we are creating things. I feel I am in the hands of a master. Really, I feel I am in the hands of a master who is taking care of me and helping me create a Hi Fi system that sounds absolutely incredible. I am deeply grateful to...

Do yourself a big favor, call Lucky Dog Hifi (Truewill) to discuss your interests. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t. He offers great gear, is incredibly knowledgeable and is an expert in set-up and acoustics. Setting up great gear poorly is flushing time and money down the drain. Do not do that.

Truewill has a fantastic ear for audio and a grasp of its principles like very few I’ve encountered. He tackles gear-matching and room set-up in a very systematic results-oriented way and if you are thirsty for such knowledge, he’ll explain it to you plainly.

Lucky Dog certainly offers fantastic gear to choose from, but that is maybe half the game. The other half is matching pieces together in a system to get the highest performance at a given budget, knowing how to prioritize the spend (what piece or pieces are most important?) and optimizing set- up in your space. Maybe set-up should have been first, because its importance cannot be overstated. Set-up is as important as it is difficult for most of us to to get right on our own. But Truewill is an expert at it and you will literally hear that for yourself if you work with him.

I’ve known Truewill over 17 years and I have always hoped he would find a way to share his dedication to finding the highest quality audio equipment, his audio expertise, and his love for music with those that would appreciate it. When I met Truewill, I was listening to Elton John on a cheap boombox, thinking because it was loud it must be good. After Truewill introduced me to my first pair of studio monitors, I realized how wrong one person could actually be about audio equipment and sound, in general. Truewill not only recommended the studio monitors to me, but he showed me where to place the speakers in my room and where to sit so that I could experience the best sound coming from my new speakers. It changed me, I feel excited and grateful that I now have a way to hear music the way artists intended it to be heard. I have never met someone that cares more about sound quality, aesthetics, or music in my life.
