There aren’t many car audio installation stores available in Santa Fe. The place I’ve gone to in the past didn’t feel like they were interested in my business anymore. In other words, I was looking for a fresh customer experience. So I gave Super Sound a try and to be honest I’m glad I did. Sam and his trusted installer (sorry didn’t get his name) provided helpful information on what equipment to go with. I have an E46 M3 so it wasn’t going to be an easy install not only because it is a European vehicle but because it is an 18 year old car that I absolutely love and wanted whoever installed the stereo to be very careful with the electronics in this car. If one wire gets cut or something not re-connected could set me back thousands at a euro Indy shop. They had to order a special kit in order to move my climate control unit lower on the dash in order to fit a double din head unit. During the install there was an issue with the Nakamichi unit I initially chose to install. Because the head unit had a CD/DVD player the depth of the head unit was to big to fit without cutting (possible) very important plastic in the dash. Instead of tackling that very scary no no, they called me and we came to an agreement on a Kenwood head unit that didn’t have a CD/DVD player which meant smaller depth of the head unit. When it was done I had a new kenwood touchscreen double din unit, amp, and 10inch subwoofer with a ported box and they finished more than an hour earlier than originally quoted. The estimate of the install came in at the mark I was quoted. And the install of everything was professional and it sounded great. After a couple days I found an issue with the head unit. The kenwood was not compatible with my generation of iPhone. So when I plugged my iPhone 11 max pro into the USB input the head unit screen showed a message “iPod/iPhone connecting.” But it wouldn’t progress. After speaking with Sam about the issue, without wasting any time, Sam said he will install a new and better head unit for no charge. All of my previous car system installs have always completed same day, that sounds like a bad thing that I have to go back for a re-install, but personally I don’t mind. Doing research for this car there are a lot of BMW enthusiasts that recommend not to change the headunit due to the fact that installers could break something if they are not careful and the stock unit has the options for preamp outputs, aux connection/iPod connection etc. But this car is 18 years old and compared to newer cars the headunit looks ancient. I wanted and needed an upgrade. And instead of spending $2k to 3k + getting the map gps screen option for this car from BMW, I saved half the money, and I’m getting better technology than what was available in the early 2000’s from BMW. AND Sam the owner is making sure I’m a satisfied customer and giving me a reinstalled product that works with my smart phone technology. In my book that’s what counts. I’m happy that good customer service still exists and I will continue to visit Super Sound for my go to car...

I had originally taken in a Silverado I had years ago to get a sound system hooked up, they charged me 120 bucks and it worked great. This second time I took my new truck to have an amp and subs wired in correctly. I paid 270 dollars for that. The amp started turning off as soon as I got the truck back. I removed the amp and sent it in to get it looked at by the manufacturer. Pioneer sent me back a new one, and advised it had probably burnt out because of wiring issues. I promptly went back to have them check the wiring in the truck, I didn’t want to have to replace a second amp. However the owner told me they hadn’t made any mistakes, without checking. Pioneer sent me the second amp and it turns off periodically. Two 350 dollar amps don’t fail back to back. I ended up taking the stereo out to see what the issue was, and they even forgot to pull their pliers out. I’ve attached a pic. He said of course pioneer would blame them. Therefore to look at the wiring he wanted me to pay him an extra 100 bucks after I had to leave work early for him to look at it. I always try to support local, that’s why I didn’t just go to Best Buy and pay 150 bucks. But the issue is some of these small companies will try and take advantage of us just as much as corporations. Almost 400 dollars to wire in an amp seems like a very unreasonable amount when Best Buy does it for less than half that. If you want a local shop check out the shops in ABQ and maybe audio express. This guy doesn’t stand behind his work and I will never recommend shoddy business practices. The worst experience I’ve had in Santa Fe by far. I will be reaching out to the BBB after I take it somewhere else to confirm it wasn’t...

Awful customer service,,,, So I would have loved to have this place install my sub and amp here due to the fact that I had trouble installing it myself, and audio Express was closed, I live out of town I was desperate just to pay what ever amount of money to have it installed, but the worker (I didn't catch his name) was extremely rude and pushy, while looking at what wires and stuff I installed myself, he processeds to grab my subwoffer box with the speaker in it with one had trying to had it to me with even looking at me, and my sub is heave but it's definitely not light either, he basically forces it into almost dropping it out of my car, this stuff is not cheap and that really bothered me, then he processeds to try and sell me all kinds of unnecessary stuff, mean while the guy at audio Express, a different shop down the street was confused on why I'm ever trying to have it installed, audio Express guy tell me I need one more wire to hook up and I'm done, he was really nice about it and was trying to save me money, mean while this other guy is trying to sell me everything in his shop calling me unprofessional and treating me like idk what I'm doing, and I get why, but if he was nice to me and explained where I went wrong and offered to help in a nice way I would have payed him what ever her wanted to charge, rude and unprofessional, also smelt very strongly of weed...

Buyer beware. Supersound ripped me off $2812. I was charged $750 for this $189 shown below. I drove off and the stereo stopped working hours later. When I called no apology was offered and he told me to drive back from my cancer center out of state to have it fixed. We shook hands on a $2400 quote which after work was completed turned into $2812. No itemized receipt was provided until my bank contacted him . He did not provide me with the boxes when asked. He charged me $690 for a single speaker that is sold in a set I did not receive the other speaker and he did not provide me with the box, which i asked for at the time of sale. I specifically told him that I wanted my Mercedes-Benz stock speakers back so that I could sell them. He kept my Mercedes-Benz stock speakers. He texts after my bank disputes the charge “I’m keeping them for you”. The speaker below I was charged $750 for you can see $189 retail price. The base speaker does not work.

A throughly great experience, super fast service, very friendly; was made to feel right at home in the comfortable air conditioned waiting area while my deck and speakers were being installed. Returned the next day to address an unforeseen technical issue with the deck, Sam resolved the problem by taking out the deck with the technical issue and upgrading to another deck at no additional cost. Sam the owner's words "I just want you to be happy". And I was happy as I drove away listening to my newly installed music system. Thanks Sam
