Schedule a service, we had to go to down town Los Angeles 45 minutes drive Look for the place it’s a 6th floor of a dark parking garage They told us to leave the car for a few days and Uber home ( this is first week we own the car We could not stay with No car so we called the customer service They told us come back in a month and we will put a requests for a loner … but most likely we will not have one You will not be able to return your car if you not happy even in day 1 To be honest, I’m 43 years old and I have owned a lot of new cars . This car is not worth the money very chip materials I feel more luxury in a Jetta
Called them again , Custemer service told me to wait for the rubber seal to wear out because it’s a new car …… unbelievable
I could have buy BMW or Mercedes for $60,000 have more luxury spend the extra 20 on gas And not talking about not having to wait for the rubber seal to wear out to be able to close my passenger door ( at least get someone in customer service that ever drove a car )
And have a dealer to take care of me when I need to . not a dark parking...

On July 10th 2023 I leased a model Y and paid 6000$ extra for the enhanced autopilot feature which adds the parking assist as well as the summon/smart function. After requesting a service to check why that feature wasn’t working in my car, the technician explained to me over the phone that the enhanced autopilot had not been operational since May 2023 due to the Tesla transition from radar to camera vision. My problem: they don’t know when it would be active again!!! The Tesla advisor from Tesla Santa Monica who gave me an estimate and help me place the order online while on I had her on the phone didn’t tell me about this. Once I found out what was happening, I called customer service to have my lease adjusted given that they sold me a product that isn’t operational yet but they said that nothing could be done. All they promised was that as soon as it becomes active again it will be automatically downloaded to the car but until that happens (if it ever happens during my lease term) I am paying for something that I don’t have. A friend gave me Brittany Foster’s contact information, she works at the Santa Monica Tesla location. He said she provided excellent service. Wow was he right. I am an instant gratification kind of person, when I heard in December the car I was I wanted would most likely be in August 2022, I threw in the towel. But after I got Brittany’s information I decided to give it one last shot. I called her the first week in January. She said June would be the worst case scenario, but if I built the car online and put down a deposit she could start looking for cars that occasionally popped up. She felt very confident that she could find me something by March if I was willing to compromise a bit on some of the options I chose.
