A Hidden Gem on the Santa Monica Promenade
Yesterday, I discovered a beautiful gem and jewelry store tucked away on the Santa Monica Promenade, and it turned out to be an incredible find. While chatting with the owner, Henry, I mentioned that I used to frequent a gem store on Lincoln Blvd. before it mysteriously closed after COVID. To my surprise, Henry revealed that it was his store, which had been tragically looted during the 2020 riots. Hearing that he has managed to rebuild and reopen in a new location was both heartwarming and inspiring.
Henry’s new store is a true treasure trove, featuring one-of-a-kind, handcrafted jewelry pieces that radiate intention and beauty. Whether you’re a collector, a jewelry designer, or simply someone looking for something meaningful and unique, this place is a must-visit. The selection of stones is breathtaking, and you can feel the care and expertise that has gone into every detail of the space.
I highly recommend stepping into the magical, welcoming world that Henry and his team have created. It’s more than just a store; it’s a story of resilience, craftsmanship, and passion brought to life in the heart of...
Read moreMy first time at the promenade and saw this beautiful store, and as i collect gemstones and minerals i was immediately intrigued. They have lots of beautiful pieces and even museum quality pieces in the back (you need to make an appointment to see them apparently). The reason, however, i’m giving one star, is because of the pricing. I have purchased crystals, gemstones, and minerals from all over the world and cannot fathom why this store prices things the way they do. A moonstone bracelet, for example, was pushed on me for $$$, when it was fair quality but not high quality. but the owner would have you thinking that it was! he’ll place things in your hand, almost forcing you to hold onto them, saying “top quality top quality.” I would never recommend someone purchase from here as the stones and minerals are extremely overpriced, however, it was a beautiful...
Read moreI’ve been to this place once. The shop is very beautiful place to shop. I wanted a moonstone ring. The ring itself is really beautifully cut & has a vintage design. Henry the owner was really nice & patient with me. I told him what I wanted and he looked up the ring. He gave me clear information on the moonstone ring. Unfortunately, I lost my debit card right before entering the store. He said I could Venmo him the money. I also ended up losing my car. I’m from out of town & couldn’t remember where I parked my car. He also let me charge my phone and wasn’t pushy about the purchase. I eventually ended up finding my car. I Venmo him the money for the moonstone ring. The ring was very beautifully cut and has a vintage design that I love. I want to purchase the same ring again but for...
