Larry Conover is the most dishonest, integrity challenged "jeweler" I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. It was not just one instance but several where he was dishonest. I had him make a ring. He set the stone too low and made me pay to correct his mistake. I had him do work on an emerald necklace I made for my mother. Upon returning it to me, he informed me the stone was chipped, which it wasn't before he got it. I set the stone myself, so I know it wasn't chipped. I strung a triple strand of pearls, knotted which was $1 per inch, a standard pricing amount at the time. He refused to pay me more than $9. He owed me $51. He is deceitful and not worth the bother. There are far better jewelers in Santa Rosa. Best to avoid this...
