I have been a lifetime Bealls Customer. Not anymore, at least not at this location. The group of women working tonight used poor judgment and profiled me as a shoplifter. As a group, they humiliated and insulted me amd they all had big grins very proud of yourself and each other and when I inquired "why are you doing this to me" the young stalky one laughed nĚand said "because I can do whatever I want" the tall Blonde one laughed and told me that if I didn't like it then I could leave. I continue to tell them they were wrong about me and I remained very quiet and very polite. The young one chimed in and said that I could go ahead and leave or she could call the police and have me trespassed. This point I had not even raised my voice I was simply trying to understand why they treated me this way run me out of the store. They wouldn't even let me buy my items. They completely understand their tactics in support their use of them but only if you're absolutely correct meaning you would have seen the perpetrator steal something already or conceal something already then using those tactics to get them to drop the items and leave the store I didn't either they had seen neither and they were wrong. One of the made an assumption in the rest of them joined in. I don't know what they based it on cuz they would not tell me but it certainly wasn't witnessing me stealing anything or concealing anything because I didn't either. Please retrain these people. Your story or your company can't afford to be running off customers like me I was prepared to spend nearly $300 but now I'll...

(My daughter had a dry cough due to allergies. She was covering her mouth when she was coughing, as we have taught her to do.) When one of the associates behind one of the cash registers noticed that my daughter was coughing she said directly to my wife that my daughter should be wearing a mask if she is sick. My wife was very offended by that and my daughter felt embarrassed and saddened by the comment. I have worked retail a good portion of my life, and have been in management, and am also a former Police Officer, and I know that an associate in any retail company cannot tell a customer what to do if that customer is not bothering or harming anyone. Again, my daughter had a cough from allergies, confirmed from a doctor, and was responsibly covering her mouth. I am highly offended by this incident and will be speaking to upper management about...
Read moreThe last time I remember being here was a couple years back and it soured me on the experience; nobody was mean to be but when I was being checked out, literally during, the cashier was speaking loudly about how much they disliked the people that came before me.
Time time, though? Someone greeted me, directed me, was very knowledgeable and amazingly even followed up with me later in my visit.
If you're a fan of old-fashioned customer service it would appear as though things have...
