A great place for a wonderful meal This restaurant is located in the shopping center on the northwest side of the Wickham and post road intersection. It is at the far north end of the center next to the Panera. There is plenty of parking. There is seating inside and out. The inside is very pretty and done in dark wood flooring with very comfortable chairs and glass tables covering tablecloths. We were greeted and led to an inside table within a minute of entering. The waitress took our drink order and offered us menus. It is a one-page menu that advertises the modern Mediterranean and Lebanese food. They brought us a basket of cut-up pita-type bread while we were deciding on our meal. They have everything from Foole to falafel for appetizers and shish Taouk to Falafel for entrees. I tried the Chicken Shawarma. It was done and delivered within about 20 minutes of when we ordered and it took me 10 minutes to eat the salad that was part of the meal. It was a very large portion and was absolutely delicious. You could tell that there was one person that was taking care of all the tables but she was amazing. I got the check as soon as I asked for it. The price was a little high ($23 for the dish) but well worth it from my point of view for the amount, taste, and service. I would highly recommend this place to my fellow travelers and would recommend the Chicken...
Read moreIt's always refreshing to find a restaurant/chef who cares about the quality of their product, the dining experience, and their community and Chef Toni does all of that and more. I suggest taking your time if you are able and asking the chef to make something they think you'd like based off of your dietary preferences/restrictions. Chef Toni definitely delivers and takes the time to understand your likes and dislikes without making you feel uneasy - it seems she enjoys a good challenge. They are very accommodating to their diner's needs from vegan, to vegetarian, to gluten-free to meat lovers which is refreshing and welcoming. Coming from larger cities and the Mediterranean food capital of the United States (Michigan), I have been spoiled with authentic Lebanese food but eating at Cedar's Cafe made me feel right at home. The molten chocolate cake she served was incredibly rich and had the perfect gooey center - but every ingredient was thoughtfully curated and I would have eaten the whole thing if I was there by myself. Looking forward to many more meals at Cedar's and sharing a great dining experience with my family and friends for years to come. Thanks Chef Toni and the rest of the team at...
Read moreIf I could give Cedars less than one star I would. Just had lunch there for the first and LAST time. DO NOT GO THERE HUNGRY AS YOU WILL LEAVE JUST AS HUNGRY. And the prices are ridiculous for what you get. My boyfriend and I would have found more satisfaction actually eating the $25 we just spent. I have no idea how they stay in business with the pathetic servings and horrific waitress we had. And I need to note that we are not big eaters. We typically split an entree at other restaurants and are totally satisfied. I ordered a classic gyro (with lamb) and my boyfriend ordered the lamb kabob. What a joke! The kabob had maybe 7 one-bite nugget sized pieces of lamb over inedible rice that was covered in "homemade garlic sauce". My gyro had about two slices of processed lamb. I had to ask for more tzakiki sauce on the side since I couldn't detect any on the wrap. I'm Lebanese and have heard others rave about Cedars. Clearly they have nothing else to compare it to. If you want a good lamb gyro or shish kabobs, go to Skewers, 5th Avenue, Indialantic. Should have gone to Panera Bread today for lunch like...
