Over the last few years, it's been very frustrating. My parents have used EVS Saukville for years.
To begin, I bought tires a few years ago from EVS Saukville (not willing to look up the date at this moment), but after they were installed they didn't hold air. Thinking it was a flat issue, my husband put soap on them and saw it was coming from a few of my tire valves. So, I went back into Saukville EVS and told them (tires were maybe a month old). They told me, apparently, a "technician" damaged my tire valves (stems), but they couldn't fix it there. They told me I had to go to the West Bend dealership. I called and made an appointment. My mom brought me (as it was during the work week and if I needed to leave for work, I needed transportation). It turned out to be a full four hour+ appointment. Honestly, it seemed like they didn't know what to do either (in my opinion). Numerous times they asked me the story of what was happening. They kept asking me questions and all I could say is "I got new tires and then this happened and the air is leaking from the valves". In the end, I had to PAY for them to be fixed from the original tech guy breaking them to begin with. Total headache experience!
Next, this summer I went in for an oil change and for my air conditioner to be fixed. I did not have a vehicle all day (as air conditioning was being "fixed"). They called me to pick up the van late in the day and then, when I got there they said "The air conditioner guy didn't come in today". I thought, "Ok then, why was my van there all day from the morning?" I planned work around this and also rides to drop off/pick up my van. Also, I got the van back and the oil light was still on, so I am thinking, the a/c wasn't fixed and how do I know if the oil change was even done? The "inspection" points are not what they claim or that would have been taken care of.
Now today (January 23, 2025), I took the van in for an oil change, tire pressure (as my tires are low as always since the new tires and the "fix" I paid for in West Bend, but maybe it's because of the cold now), and I had them put on new wipers I bought (that part was good). They were to do the oil change, fill my tires, put on wipers and give me the normal free car wash (asked and verified). I came out to get my van and there was no car wash and tires were still low and the oil light still on. The maintenance light was left on, yet again. I even confirmed at check out if the tires were filled up (this has been an every two week occurrence for me since "new tires" that are old now). I hate it. I was told "Yupp, they are good to go". Well, thank goodness for Kwik Trip's free air. Nothing worse than doing this in winter. In summer it's annoying, but winter is a whole new frustration.
I called and Jeff from service, and he said I can come back and they would complete what they told me to begin with, but I had to go back to work.
It's sad, because they give free oil changes after a few, but someone is doing something wrong there and they have been for a bit. You can ask and verify and it's still wrong. It's frustrating and disappointing to schedule around work and life. You think you crossed "stuff" off the life todo list, yet you have half the things left.
Meanwhile, I had to drive back to Milwaukee for work (thanks Kwik Trip for the free air). Then, I got home, I Googled how to get my maintenance light off and I bought a $12 car wash. Annoying.
My family has used them for a long time (we enjoy the coupons and free oil changes after x amount), but I am just at the point that I need to use someone else. Too many times being disappointed. It's hard working full-time and not getting things done when you think they will...

I purchased my vehicle and extended warranty package for a used 2016 Colorado Z71 -- my dream vehicle. The finance were under the impression that all parts were original and sold it me as such. Carlos even highlighted the Air Ride suspension as a desirable feature as we signed the paperwork, so I assumed it was a factory build. Of course, as we are going over the warranty information, I make it a point to make sure all possible major repairs would be covered. I remember asking about additional coverage options (such as lift kit coverage option), and the response was "you don't need that"...turns out, I absolutely did.
Come the time for the warranty repair for the suspension and differential (a little over a year later) and the warranty company needing confirmation from the purchase dealership that the vehicle was sold to me as is.
Mind you, the I spoke directly with the adjusters at the warranty company and the service department where the car was being repaired, and they had both said the repair could be covered (regardless of the aftermarket suspension parts) if the purchasing dealership could confirm that they sold the vehicle to me as is. Seems like a simple request to fulfill, no? NO.
All of a sudden, finance wasn't aware that the suspension was aftermarket. (Otherwise, I'm sure they would have offered the specific warranty coverage for that...to quote Carlos: "We would never sell anyone on coverage they do not need"). Finance didn't keep the records (from 2021) and could not provide me with a copy of my contract, or my bill of sale, or even acknowledge that they had sold me the vehicle under the pretense of all factory GM parts and try to resolve this situation. Nobody at EVS could simply let the warranty company know that they sold the car to me as is (aka with that suspension).
I asked Todd if I could briefly speak with the owner of dealership, as he mentioned the owner of the dealership was waiving him over...he declined to let me speak with the owner to ask for help with this issue.
So, caveat empteaur when you buy a car from this dealership, because apparently there is no due diligence on the vehicles, and from this experience, it is crystal clear that the sales people don't KNOW what they're selling you, you can basically forget about getting any assistance for the vehicle after the fact, and they'll leave you in the dust, instead of working with you to remedy or resolve any issue you might face as a result of their negligence.
I'm kinda sad to have to write this review. I wish that this dealership would just own up to the mistake and resolve the issue, so that I don't have to drop over $2k on a repair that should be covered by the warranty. But here we are. My only course of action was escalating a complaint directly to GM about the fraudulent practices of this...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I recently found a truck online at EVS Saukville for around $3,000.00. Since we live about an hour and a half away we called to make sure they still had the vehicle. They did so we told them we would be coming to look at it but first asked if the price was negotiable, Terry Flaherty said it was very much negotiable. He also told us that the windshield washer fluid didn't work, and the check engine light was on for an oxygen sensor. My boyfriend was going to bring his vehicle tester to plug into the truck to see if that's really why the check engine light was on but forgot. Once we got to the dealership we took the truck for a ride. Terry said the truck had been at the dealership for two weeks. When we seen the truck it had not been detailed or even washed, whether its a 3,000 car or a 90,000 car it still should have been washed and vacuumed. I guess we should have left then. But we decided to go ahead with an offer. Terry said that they couldn't go any lower on the price after he had told us differently over the phone. We were going to walk out and go home when Terry said what price are you thinking. We told him $2200.00 and he came back with the current price. We ended up agreeing on 2400 for the price of the truck and all fees included with the purchase. After sitting there for another 2 hours we finally had our purchase. There were plenty of other people working at the dealership but Terry seemed to be the only one helping us and four other customers. Very unorganized and slow. Once we got the truck home we plugged in our tester and were very unhappy. We got a totally different code which showed a lot worse problem than an oxygen sensor. The dealership claims that they did an inspection of the truck and it passed, mind you a $299.00 inspection, . If they had been up front with us we probably wouldn't have bought it and wasted our time. We feel like we got ripped off and taken for granted. I wouldn't recommend buying from here again, or to those who have never been here, ever purchasing a vehicle from here. We were there for 2 and a half hours and never even offered a bottle of water! Now we have to decide if we want to keep the truck and take a gamble on who knows how much it will cost to fix it or drive the truck back an hour and a half drive, and hope we can get...
