The clothes are absolutely adorable, but I didn't get to buy any. My 79-year-old mother was trying on clothes and suddenly felt the urge that she needed to use the restroom. She quickly changed into her own clothes, exited the dressing room and asked the clerk behind the counter if she could use her restroom. My mother was told no, restrooms are not open to the public and she had to go elsewhere. My mother has long-term side effects from the radiation and chemo treatment that she received for cancer. When it hits her she is in a lot of pain and needs to get to the restroom immediately. I begged the clerk to let my mom use the restroom and was told that it is not open to the public. I understand that it's not open to the public, but she did not walk off the street to ask to use the bathroom. She intended on buying some clothing and being a paying customer. Unfortunately, by the time she reached the restroom in the Ross dress for less two doors down, she had a little accident. She was embarrassed, humiliated, and it took her a while to get herself cleaned up so she could come out. In the meantime while I was waiting for her, I begged the staff to let her use the bathroom and told them that they needed to revisit their policy. This is embarrassing for her and for any woman in this situation. My mom told me through text that she was no longer interested in the clothes. So I told the clerk to go ahead and put the clothes back because my mom was not interested in purchasing them. It's sad, and I'm heartbroken for her because she has a hard time even leaving the...
Read moreThe reason I give this place a 1 stare is because when their sign in website say they open up at 10:00am they aren’t open they open there doors 15-30 min later so they should fix there hours is they are not going to open at time they say they will people like me who have a very busy life I can make time to come at opening but I have something planned non stop through the day so this is big inconvenience! Also some of the staff when you walk in they are not nice and they swam like they don’t want you to walk around in the store and they don’t want to be there. This seams to me. Normal thing so for now on I will be going to another location farther from my house that opens up when they say they will and the staff there are...
Read moreIn 2018 I walked into Cato’s on FM78 where two workers of Spanish descent failed to acknowledge my presence. There was no greeting although I walked the floor for twenty minutes. Finally, after bringing it to their attention they tried to say they didn’t acknowledge me because I was on the phone. After continuing to shop I did however notice that they made it a point to acknowledge the Caucasian woman walking in shortly after our brief interaction. This particular location needs to do better with their...
