Park Ave Shoe Repair is amazing! I had a pair of tall black suede Ugg boots that I was unable to wear due to salt damage. I had stepped into a salt puddle with my right foot and the result was when the soggy boot dried it was so stiff and hard I could not get my foot in. The left boot was fine and looked brand new. I took both boots to my local shoe repair in the Chicago area and they said they could fix the problem. The boots were returned to me and I still could not get my foot into the right boot. The shop owner said " that happens to Uggs with salt damage ". Just a note both boots looked fine, there were no white marks or visible damage so it really bothered me that I could not wear them and to replace them without more effort on my part just seemed wasteful. So I decided to Google search Ugg repair for salt damage and I found Park Ave Shoe Repair. I read the reviews and checked the before and after photos. I then sent an email describing the condition of my boots. The next day I received an email reply from Anna telling me she thought she could remove the salt but she had to see the boot. If the salt could not be removed Anna said she would let me know. So I quickly sent the boot off.Several days later I received a voice mail at home from Anna asking me to call her, when we spoke Anna said she felt that she could remove the salt so I could wear my boot and could I please send the other boot in case there was any change in color from the salt removal process, she could adjust the second boot so that both boots matched. Anna apologized for asking me to send the second boot as it was an additional postage cost but she wanted to make sure the pair looked good. The cost of the postage was nothing compared to replacing the Uggs. In about two weeks my boots were returned, beautifully packed and covered in individual plastic sleeves and they FIT!!!!! I cannot tell you how happy I was to slip on that formerly hard, stiff, right boot and have it fit. Both boots look brand new and I have worn them several times since for extended periods and they are perfect. Anna is absolutely the BEST. When we spoke on the phone she told me she wants her customers to be pleased with her work and be able to wear their Uggs for many more seasons. Anna also said that if she feels the job will not attain the best result she will tell her customers so they will not waste their money. Truly this level of customer service and pride in workmanship is something we all need to support. My thanks to Anna and her family at Park Ave Shoe Repair for a great job. I am now sending some Ugg slippers and I know I will have other shoe and handbag repair in the future. I only wish Park Ave Shoe was in the Chicago...

I do not even know where to begin on the quality of service you are given at Park Ave Shoe Repair. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the owners and your problems are solved. Anna has helped me with several different shoes. She took a pair of sneakers for my sister who is in a wheelchair, I gave her a piece of material from a dress for a wedding and asked if she could dye them. She recommended painting them. When I picked them up, they look exactly the same as the dress! You would have thought it was the same material. The other day I dropped off a pocketbook that has sentimental value for the same sister. She repaired what i thought should have been thrown out and it looks brand new. She is not only very talented at what she does but so pleasant to work with. Her husband has the same talents in repairing shoes. Numerous time I have brought shoes in for repair. Other places would take advantage of you and tell you to do unnecessary work. He repairs the shoe back to its original quality and keeps the cost affordable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs quality work done. The are true artist at their profession. Next time you need work done stop by, I am sure you will not be disappointed. My sister had some rips in her UGGs that she's owned for a couple years. She asked me to drop them off for her. Hearing how great they were, I decided to take a pair of my own high heel boots for repair. I'd worn them for 5 years until the heel fell off, but couldn't part with them yet. I brought the shoes in on a Monday and Anna told me it would be no problem to repair the rips in the UGGs AND to replace the heel by the following Monday. I was skeptical wondering how they would find a heel to match. I was pleasantly surprised with a phone call on Friday saying the shoes were done and completely blown away when I picked up the shoes on Saturday morning! They looked brand new! The heels matched PERFECTLY! They did a BEAUTIFUL polish that made my boots look new off of the shelf. The rips in the UGGs were EXPERTLY stitched and looked natural and they even were able to get the water stain out of her boot even though I didn't point it out thinking there was nothing they could do!
