Remodeling an existing home can be quite daunting... so we decided to assemble a team of professionals that would make sure that we achieved the look and feel that we were looking for. We had a great architect/designer, builder, landscaper and needed that decor partner who would bring it all together.

We had an extensive consultation with Dan Levinson of Feathers and away we went. We did a complete remodel of a 6,000 square foot home taking it from Southwest territorial decor to a timeless “Santa Barbara” abode. Feathers met with us more times than I could count; at our home as well as at their facilities and vendors. They interfaced with the other team members to coordinate patterns/colors, designs, logistics, etc.

A special tribute to Dennis and his manufacturing/ installation team. They always made sure things were installed correctly, always conscientious of protecting the floors/walls/etc... even the dogs! And always with the best attitude!

The result... was not only being on the cover of Phoenix Home and Garden, but loving our home. Neighbors continue to comment on how much they love our place.... every gathering involves people walking around taking a tour... haha

Never did we feel pressured; never did we feel “railroaded” into a look or style; never did we feel intimidated. We felt comfortable dropping into the showroom, taking with everyone about our project. Pricing was always straight forward and never an “elephant in the room”. A great relationship.

I have furnished several houses over the years using private designers, store designers and going at it alone. Feathers is the perfect balance between all three. They have been doing it for so long and have seen so many types of styles, that there is virtually nothing they have not made or designed from scratch. Even more importantly, when the owner is in the back room actually cutting the fabric himself, you know they are going to get it right.

They have an uncanny ability to understand what you need and then magically pull out 5 alternatives all with complimentary material that is a visualization of what you see in your head.
