Thingz Contemporary Living — Local services in Scottsdale

I first discovered Thingz several years ago. I was impressed then with their wonderful selection of stunning inventory. I bought some things. I found them very customer oriented. Well, now, I recently bought some more wall vases from them. I am finishing a remodel job and I was a bit indecisive about exact styles and colors. I bought and exchanged several over a period of weeks. Listen folks! I received the utmost attention and cordial treatment that any consumer could possibly expect from a retail establishment! Donna and Ryan Gillette worked pleasantly and patiently with me. I actually felt a little embarrassment that I was causing them so much trouble. But everyone at ThingZ made me feel like my interest was their primary concern. I now fully realize that the owners of ThingZ not only select the finest merchandize, but they also select astounding customer oriented employees. In April, I ordered and completely paid for two chairs. I was told they would be in the end of June. I heard nothing from the store, and when I called and tried to reach my sales woman, she never called me back. I called again and spoke with someone else who informed me that the chairs would be complete on July 4th and would be shipped. When the 4th came and went with no courtesy calls, I called again and was told that we are now looking at the end of July. So, now we are a month past the date and I call once more. Now I am being told mid-August, but they will call on Friday and let me know. We will see. Not once has my sales woman had the common courtesy to call and update me. I'm confident that Thingz would be completely happy to sit back, keep my money and never follow up to see if this customer ever got the merchandise. We've had terrific experiences at Thingz Contemporary Living store in Scottsdale. After finishing over a year of renovations on our Scottsdale home, we needed some unique decor items to make our home special. Thingz offers a great variety of luxury contemporary furnishings and decor at competitive prices. We discovered that they offer Hunter Douglas window coverings as well which allowed us to kill two birds with one stone. Tara helped us with our primary bedroom Pirouette blinds while Michele helped us with a wonderful mirror that will be perfect for above our fireplace.
