Antique Liquidators — Local services in Seattle

Stopped in on a whim, and was floored by several things... 1) the merchandise. Most "antique" stores are simply overpriced junk stores. The items at Antique Liquidators were true antiques, and quite the amazing selection. 2) the prices. I had been looking for a decently priced set of lawyer's bookcases (stackable bookcases). I locked myself for not picking up a unit in Portland years ago. Antique Liquidators had a set, more unique, and about half the price. And 3) the service. The owners of the store were about as courteous, friendly, and helpful as one could imagine. They helped load it in the car (a very small car, Honda CRZ) without request. This is a store that is fun just to tour and look. Broad collection of furniture, 50 years to several hundred years old, at prices that are truly affordable. Over the years I've purchased two pieces of furniture that I like very much. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have found those pieces anywhere else.
